Get Ready to Boogey
Fourth time in Cancun, but first time at the Hard Rock Hotel and this is the most entertainment we have experienced at a hotel. There is live rock bands by the pool, two pool bars (which we love), the shows in the large theatre are great (esp. Queen tribute band), activities in the lobby bar from zumba lessons to karaoke-get the idea?! If you are looking to read a book by the pool this is not going to happen here, there is so much activity and good music, entertainers, you just want to keep watching. Restaurants-range from Asian, Italian, Brazilain steakhouse, Mexican and the buffet. All delicious but the Ipanema (Brazilian) steakhouse was outstanding and Frida (Mexican). Comfort bar food every day by pool areas-nachos, chicken strips, jalapeno poppers, fries, burgers, hot dogs...don't worry the gym is very nice and spacious so you can work off those calories. Access to beach is great, good security and beach itself is super clean. Helpful tip-there is a bus stop right outside the hotel, $1 per person to take a short 10 minute ride down to where the clubs are! Coco Bongo, Congo Bar, Carlos and Charlies... don't spend money on a taxi! A lot of shopping too... Only drawback was the hotel did not have a club... Completely recommend, had a great time, no complaints, thanks to Angel at check in and Sylvia the entertainer for the great Yoga class.
Hard Rock Cancun, One of the best resorts I have ever stayed at.
Hard Rock Cancun was a true one of a kind experience. The food, services, pool, and rooms were fantastic. All of the restaurants have something for everyone. My favourite restaurant was the buffet restaurant called "the Market". The service at this restaurant was amazing. There was one particular waiter who was phenomenal. His name was Alex. Everyday he met my family and I with a smile, and he truly made our resort and restaurant experience fantastic. He was very helpful and often talked to us, telling us about the tourist sites in Mexico. He was truly fantastic.
Yes, Yes, Yes
Was it truly all inclusive? YES Was the food great? YES Was the location and beach great? YES How was the Don Julio? Awesome duh Nice Pool - Too warm for my liking but hey it was August.... Overall I had a great time with wife and we met several people i now call friends. The nightly shows are fun and they always had late activities for guests. It is a very user friendly resort and all the staff were extremely attentive making the entire experience worth every cent.

The best vacation I have took without a doubt. If you go to the Hardrock, you need to get served in the market by either “Alex” or “Mayo”. These two guys weren’t just waiters, they were amazing people all the way around. The overall experience at this resort was one to remember and we will most definaetly be back hopefully next year! I highly recommend this resort as it is by far one of the most superb i have ever stayed at!
Absolute BLAST of a Holiday!
Where to start thats the question.. we stayed for ten days in September. The Hotel is situated beautifully on the coast the pool is AMAZING the location excellent for venturing into the main strip only being a short taxi ride away. The rooms are glorious with the jacuzzi being a lovely touch with a full fridge of drinks everyday, however, it has to be said the real ‘Heroes’ of this hotel lies within it’s passionate and friendly staff. Breakfast, lunch, dinner staff, room service and those behind closed doors provided such a brilliant ‘Fantastic’ service I often found myself looking forward to mornings and evenings with two staff members in particular really going the extra mile in being friendly and welcoming throughout, within two days ‘Willy’ at the front of house bar knew our ‘drinks’ orders and often shouted it to us on approach to the bar during the evening, and thats the sort of service which really polishes this place upto perfection. A special shout out also to ‘Carlos Nicolas’ who made our breakfast experience wonderful every morning come rain or shine he was there with our ‘Mimosas’ and friendly chatty self. If I could criticise anything and this was extremely ‘minor’ the young lady at the ‘Hard Rock paparazzi photography centre’ on the day we left was not very helpful and very dismissive, we explained we only had 1000 pessos left due to it being our last day and wondered if we could purchase 3 photographs with our money which the centre took throughout our stay. She dismissed this quoting its a set price (1200 pessos) and sent us on our Mary way, being an LGBT couple it made us feel slightly ‘dismissed’ and I found her not the most helpful or sympathetic, again this was a very minor critic it just put a bit of a downer on our last day and we ended up buying magnets with the money rather than supporting the ‘HR photo centre’ by buying from them. Overall my experience was fantastic at the hotel, with this being our first time in the hotel I can safely say we cant wait to come back next year! Thank you ‘Hard Rock’ for such a lovely ‘Holiday’ experience we miss you already.
