The service was amazing, drinks and food were good and entertainment team (Marcos Flores) was very welcoming and had new fun activities everyday! They Made our stay so much fun!! Would for sure stay again and recommend to anyone!!
Surprised at the poor reviews
Just returned from the resort and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Food was good, there was lots to do and staff was extremely friendly and appeared happy at all times. Yes, some TLC required, but our room was clean and we had a fabulous view of the entire property. We didn’t have kids with us but there was lots for them to do and I would consider a return visit to bring them. My main complaint is .... everyday there was a note in the entertainment flyer about not reserving chairs and if you didn’t go to the pool at 7:30 AM there were hardly any chairs available with shade....all reserved by guests who had put their towels on the chairs. The only choice was to do the same.
Inferior all-inclusive experience
While resort had great location, rooms were small, AC didn't work through the night, the shower drain backed up and then leaked under the glass wall on the floor of the small bathroom. Buffet food was low quality. Menu items at more than one restaurant were not as described. No wifi was included had to pay extra. $200 in resort coupons for paying all-inclusive extra fee 30-days early had very limited options to use. Several workers tried their best to help but seemed to have no ability to rectify the problems.
Not that great
We have never been to PV, but chose this resort based on location. We upgraded our room/services. But not worth it. Pool area was busy/crowded, but always able to get a drink from passing wait staff. Lots of areas inside that needed some attention....paint, plaster, etc. Food was not great. Would have expected more seafood/shrimp. And lots of containers on the buffet empty...they had trouble keeping up with the numbers of people. We always waited a long time for dinners in the separate restaurants. Staff at the desks seemed confused and we would get different answers to questions. Beach, very rocky and we missed the white sand that is on the Caribbean side. We didn't have night entertainment. We will not go back to this resort.
I just came back of one of the best weekends ever had. My buds and fiance went down to celebrate my 40th birthday and even we had a confusion with the reservation, after that nothing but the best service was delivered. Ezequiel de activities manager sorprised me with a private Diiner at the mexican Restuarant, I love fajitas!!!!! One of the managers came to our table to verify we are having a great time and was so lovely, her names is Pattrizia... special mention to Martin activities, Mr. Chava from main bar, and special specail special mention to Jovita at coco cafe, best capuchino in the world.
