Breathless Punta Cana
We are leaving today..... we had a great time, the staff is very friendly. A special thanks to Jose our host for making us feel extra special!! Thanks to Saintony at the beach and Estephany at the exhale pool for making sure that we were properly hydrated 😉
Loved my Exhale
I am mrs. Wehrle from room 4144!! This is our second visit to Breathless Punta cana in a year. We love it so much that, This year we brought 7 family members and friends with us. We chose to come back because of the service we received, and the beauty of the resort. Our daughter was married two weeks ago and she chose breathless for her familymoon(honeymoon) because of our rave reviews, and they didnt disappoint. She couldnt have had a better time. Carlos has taken care of us from the first day we stepped on this resort 1 year ago. I never have to look for Carlos. He looks for me to make sure we have no needs! There is always something fun happening! Although we missed Abraham the exhale pool server, margarita, and estafany did not disappoint. My one piece of advice would be is when you get to the resort and take off running...remember it's a marathon. You don't want to miss the fun!!! Breathless Punta Cana Excellent
We are leaving this resort in 2 days and could not be more sad to be going home! We came here for our Honeymoon that we called family moon because 9 of us are here!! We stayed in xhale, swim up room and loved it! Our room number was 4142, and it was awesome. Carlos who I believe is a concierge, went above and beyond for our group! Carlos met my parents (Mr. & Mrs. Wehrle in room 4144) at there last trip to Breathless and we heard for 1 year about how awesome he was! Let me tell you he exceeded our expectations! Our group will return to this resort anytime we felt like we were appreciated and welcomed daily. Come to Breathless and see Carlos you wont regret!

Breathless is a very nice resort and the people there where so great,ready to help with anything you need. The person that stands out the most was Luis our host who did so many things for us, like when my wife had a upset stomach he came right to my room and took me to get something to help. He set up a romantic evening for us that turned out great and even made reservation to eat along with a ride to the restaurant. Luis was Always checking to see if we needed anything with a fast and professional manure. If you go to Breathless ask for Luis, he will make your stay so much smoother. Worst Breathless Resort
My friend and I travel all the time, Breathless Resorts being our “go-to” resort. We have been to multiple Breathless resorts, but Breathless Punta Cana is by far THE WORST! The beginning of our trip is kinda funny actually we were at the Riu Republica and after 2 days of fighting we proved to not only their resort that they should refund us but we also proved to the high ups at Riu and Sunwing. So after a terrible start to a 7+ day trip we decided we are going to Breathless a line of resorts that we know what to expect. So we check in and the front desk gave us 3 different room numbers before finally sending us to our room.. which turned out to be someone else’s room (thank god we’re good people and notified them as we couldn’t robbed them blind and got away with it) so next, Our room.. oh our lovely room.. the room with the toilet seat on the ground. Yes that’s right it wasn’t on the toilet. So I call maintenance, my friend stayed in the room while I went out for dip in the pool.. 4 hours later I return to find out 3 maintenance men came at different times all just to stare at the seat on the floor. So once again I call front desk (now 5 hours after realizing the seat is on the floor) and believe it or not.. they two way taped the seat onto the toilet. What a great fix.. until you sit on it and send up on the floor (as I found out the hard way) that toilet seat stayed that way for the whole trip. Next, they have these beautiful relaxing jacuzzis on the balcony.. that is if you’re lucky enough to have one that doesn’t blow apart on you within 30 seconds of turning it on. So maintenance comes to repair, it was worse after he left. Before he came it drained into the sewer.. after he left not only did he not repair anything I called about (I ended up repairing it myself) he disconnected the drain and had it flow right onto our 3rd floor balcony. So after I used it I found out the rainwater drain on our balcony was clogged.. so when I drained the jacuzzi the balcony flooded and within minutes the whole room was flooded. Not a single employee came to help us clean the mess. Next, the hottub by the pool.. oh boy where to I begin.. well the on/off button didn’t work so I had to call front desk to turn it on since the employees just kept telling me “It turn on it 5-6 minutes”.. well they turned the bubbles on but shut the heat off. So once again not only do we call, but about 6 other guests called and complained. Now at 4pm in the afternoon we are happy in the hot tub relaxing and laughing enjoying the vacation. Doesn’t an employee come with a pail of chemicals and pour it into the hot tub while 15-20 people are in (some chemicals landed in my friends drink) within a minute all our eyes started burning, skin started burning and itching. No one at the resort cared. This being our first trip to The Dominican, not only did Breathless ruin our view on their resort, but also our view on the country itself. Needless to say I will never return to this Breathless Resort and I will never return to The Dominican Republic
