    2 Year Anniversary

My Husband and I stayed at this resort for our two year Anniversary. As soon as we took our first step into this resort, we knew it was going to be out of this world. Pricey but well worth it. This is definitely going to be out second home. Hilton Waikoloa you definitely out done yourself.

    Aloha, We'll be back

This was our third trip to the HWV. We had a partial ocean view room in the Ocean Tower, which overlooked Buddha Point - beautiful. The room was spacious. I just wish I had known that the king rooms come with a sofa bed. We did have trouble working the Playstation for DVDs - we weren't able to play it without maintenance help. The pools are great. The museum is amazing. I love its location - close to the King and Queens Marketplace. The housekeeping staff was on top of things. I liked the option to text if you had a request - very easy and fast. I do have a couple of suggestions. Why did the lobby stop serving fruit-enhanced water when you enter? When you walk from self-parking, you will be parched. Also, why are there no recycling bins in the pool area?

    Beautiful hotel

The hotel is outstanding, great view, restaurants are terrific, service is outstanding. Need to update the hotel rooms. The furniture appears on early 1990’s. Overall, the hotel is terrific and I would return.

    Truly magnificent property

The Hilton Waikoloa Village impresses on so many levels that it would take a small book to cover them all. Here are some highlights that we enjoyed most. The view. No matter where you are in the expansive property along the coast, the view is just beautiful. Black lava rocks next to white corral pieces with blue water and green palm trees and thick leaf bushes with colorful flowers in them...paired with Asian architectural elements, statues, ancient wall art along the long connecting open corridors and elaborate pools, there is no direction to look at without seeing something worth taking pictures of. The second to point out are the numerous pools with caves, waterfalls, slides and a little river. Even if you are not into snorkeling or swimming in the ocean, the pools offer a tremendous amount of fun for the family. Moving along the expansive property is either done by strolling along the many foot paths and bridges over lakes and lacunae with koi and sea turtles or on a little river boat or in the modern little train with stops at all important points.

    Lovely but over priced

Hotel rooms are pretty standard for the price, the grounds are lovely , amazing pools and fantastic for kids and peole of all ages. So much to see and do. I find the restaurants in the grounds are all extremely over priced and the quality doesn’t match the price tag - very basic really for what you pay. Even a coffee in the morning at the early morning kiosk is over priced and not a patch in Starbucks. I always find the litttle pool bar serves better food than most of the higher end restaurants, it sells nice burgers and a good selection of other bar kinda food. Expect to spend a lot of money but the experience is amazing , sunset from the grounds is fab, dolphins , turtles are all there too. Definitely worth a visit especially with children, they will love it , there is a train and boat that you can hop on instead of walking round the hotel .,it’s a fun place to visit !
