Student Groups (Spring Breakers) are not permitted at Hotel. A student group consist of those that travel without parent supervision or a responsible adult in each room. This could refer to but not limited to high school students or college students booking multiple rooms.
Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.

Employees who made my stay better!
This review is for the employees ONLY, the hotel will be in a separate review. They were exceptional and their service went above and beyond. Jessica from Tapas & Margarita was amazing and so was the Chocolate Martinis. We ordered 2 martinis that were not good however Jessica was willing to find the right one and babbbbyyyyy it was the Chocolate one! She was pleasant and always had a smile. My man Raul at Rissoto Restaurant is a hard worker and I could totally tell watching him work the tables. He explained the menu and his customer service was top notch. Angel, Victor and Efrain at the buffet was awesome! They came by asking if we needed anything and didn’t let too much time pass before checking again. They were very attentive to our needs and they kept the shots coming!!!! Sergio our Surfas pool bar guy, made a sunny day even better. He was very nice and pleasant. If you happen to visit this hotel, please look for these waiters, they will definitely take care of you!!! They were the BOMB!
Torn between 2 and 5
The only reason why I am giving this hotel a 5 is because of the exceptional service received from the following employees...Had I not had a pleasant experience with the employees below, it would definitely be a 2! Names are below: My bell boy Matias Jessica at the tapas and martini bar (veggie spring rolls and chicken flautas are a must try) Raul at the Rissoto restaurant Angel, Victor and Efrain at O buffet Sergio at the surfas pool bar These employees were very attentive, personable and friendly and need to be recognized!! We were told the resort has top shelf alcohol and to some they might consider El Jimador, Cazadores, Smirnoff and Skyy top shelf, but I DO NOT! Patron, grey goose/Belvedere or Ketel One are considered top shelf!! They did run out of champagne at the buffet; so mimosas were limited a couple days! We had a terrible experience at the tepanyaki restaurant! Do not pay the additional monies for the show meaning what you would see at your typical Benihana! The reason why I say this is because they ran out of lobster and we were told the cost would be $46 for two people and some people were charged $46 pp!! And you only had the lobster option, no other meats! I myself ended up with just fried rice which was very tasty and my mouth watered as the chef cooked the lobster and when it was time to eat, I ended up with a bowl of rice; nothing else! No veggies, no meat!:( I’m not sure what happened, but they did not try and fix the problem. If you opted out for the show, you could have your choice of beef, chicken and shrimp and that’s FREE! Soooo definitely do not pay for the show, but if you do make sure you’re clear on what the cost will actually be! I ended up eating the fresh and delicious al pastor tacos that were located by the pool on the way back to my room that night. The rooms were nice and comfy! That pretty much sums up my experience. Every person has a different opinion, just make sure you read the reviews!!

I wanted to write a review about the way Mrs Alvarado, Guest Services manager, handled the reservations hiccup my wife and I experienced over our first visit to this new chain of our UVC Membership. Although they ate going thru some transition issues, i am glad to see that they reached out to us and listened to our concerns. We love Cabo and it's good to see that we will have this resort available to us at a lower price point than some of the other choices. We would also like to Thank Carlos,pool concierge, and Joe, our waiter twice at Ayami, for doing their part to make our stay more pleasant.
Only go, if you don't Eat food at all.
I went on a trip with 5 friends here in mid november. We stayed in the altitude building with supposedly vip standards. Anyhow this trip was a nightmare and I'm not sure where to start. The pros were the place had a beaut setting and our room had a great views, and the drinks were strong and no complaints there! Plus we were able to find bottled water. The cons... It was so hard to get any food in us. thus you couldn't sleep and always felt sick. They sold it as three restaurants a buffet and a snack bar. only one of those was ever open. The restaurants would open late every time and they kept telling us they would open every ten mins until u were standing waiting for an hour or two. When ever you did get a chance to eat, which was about every 20 hours... the food was almost in edible. If you were able to get into a restaurant which for us was 3 over seven days. food took hours to come! there happened to be a rainstorm on the fifth day and the whole place shut down for a day and a half. No food offered at all. The food was a nightmare. only time we had any good sustenance its when we left the resort, or ordered takeout to the resort cause we were hungry. Also it was impossible to get our room cleaned, and we were leaving 10american tips. Plus the room service food was hilarious... i don't believe it was food. One of our friends was sick for 4 days in his room. and they wouldn't let us bring him anything, other than room service, which was total inedible and never open anyways. To sum it all up, this place is an absolute JOKE. Do not waste your MONEY or TIME.
Not a good resort..more like 2.5 star
We recently stayed here Nov 22-27th. Prior to booking we read many reviews and decided to take a chance on it based on WestJet vacations rating it a 4 star and the pictures were nice. We have been to many 4-5 star resorts and this resort was more like a 2.5 star! The check in took about 2 hours, there were many upset guests with complaints waiting to talk with the manager. We had upgrade our package on booking to the king ocean view suite, which we never did get as we were informed no longer any of those rooms available. The main building is right off a busy highway with loud traffic all night. Our first night we were in a basement which was old and run down. We had NO sleep due to the traffic noise and being right beside the laundry room with the sound of laundry carts up and down the hallway. We spend several hours the next morning requesting the room we paid for and by 3pm they offered us a double bed partial ocean view suite a few flights up. Still right on busy highway and had to listen to loud traffic all night. After lacking sleep at night due to the noise we woke up to workers hammering tiles right outside our room door at 8 am! We really just wanted to leave at that point but were informed we would receive zero refund however, they generously offered to wave the penalty for leaving early! You get 2 water bottles per day per room-the rest of the time you can ask for a glass of water. House keeping was hit and miss, only given 2 face cloths the entire stay. Towels were old and had to ask for more several times. Room was not like the pictures! They are dated and lacking basic necessities that should be included in a 4 star. Mini fridges not stocked at all! We saw many people walking to near by stores to purchase water bottles and snacks. Food was horrible and unappealing, room service took hours and the food arrived cold and order incomplete. Best food was at the grill at the beach. Adult pool was dirty. Some staff were friendly and helpful. Bottom line, we ended up renting a car to get out of there to have decent food and peace and quite. Definitely NOT the relaxing 5 day get away we had hoped for. We love going to Cabo but will never be returning to this resort again!
