A luxury beach resort, Turtle Bay also features championship golf courses by Fazio and Palmer, tennis courts, horseback riding, hiking, and mountain bike trails, a surfing school, world-class dining, and shopping. Enjoy two lushly landscaped pools - the main pool and hot tubs are surrounded with ocean views, tropical flowers, and swaying palm trees. Two hot tubs are located in the main pool area, one of each end of the pool. A kiddie pool is home to a waterfall and an 80-foot waterslide that is open to and fun for all ages! Both Resort pools operate using saline which is composed of natural salt water rather than chemically-based chlorine.

AC in need of updating
We were disappointed to find out at check in that guests were complaining about the AC not working. Our room was very warm, despite having the AC set as low as possible. I think the AC system is very outdated or cannot handle the demand. We were told by front desk that maintenance said the AC was working. I would really beg to differ. The other resort we stayed at on Maui was remarkably cooler. On a positive note, the pool experience was great. The food was good and the service was great. Make sure to check your itemized bill at checkout. We were charged for food/drink on a day we were off property sightseeing. I will say that the front desk staff did remove the charge when we told them we were not even there at that time.
Though somewhat expensive, the resort offers so many activities with a large variety of outside areas and 2 bays. Restaurants are excellent. Though we are retired, from our experience this is a great family resort who caters well to children. Staff are outstanding, helpful, friendly, and seem to go out of their way. Only drawback I saw for families is there are not tubs, only walk in showers.
Best Hotel In The World!
I can’t say enough about this magical place! I absolutely love staying here and the ocean front rooms are some of the best views on this planet. The amenities, hotel grounds, pool and jacuzzis will have you feeling aloha. I have stayed here twice so far this year for two weeks in total and I am in bliss every time. I love Imelda in housekeeping for fixing up my room every day and assuring that I have everything for a cozy stay. Thank you Imelda!🌺 Definitely go for a trail ride on horseback and try to request Jenna as your guide because she will make your ride super great and choose the best horse for you. Turtle Bay is super special! Go Go Go! 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
Great North Shore Hotel
Turtle Bay Resort is the only resort hotel on the north shore of Oahu. It is a great place to stay if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki. There are a variety of activities available to keep you busy during your vacation. Or you can just relax at their pool or ocean lagoon and do a little sun bathing and snorkeling. It's a great place to stay and enjoy the north shore of Oahu.
Let me start by saying that I have been coming to TB since 1998 when Hilton managed the property. I have stayed mostly as a business guest but this time it was for my wife's and ours second honeymoon. Over the years I have seen TB go though many transitions, upgrades and owners but have always returned. This last stay (for 10 nights) was my last. On the last day of our visit last week, when I checked out, I learned that TB had miscalculated the taxes and fees, from when I had originally booked the stay back in March, to a tune of $807. When I asked for more detail TB blamed it on a 'computer glitch'. That's all that they would tell me. I asked if my stay was the only one affected by the 'glitch', I got no response. When I complained to the hotel manager all I received was 'I am sorry'. No room comp, no coupon for a future stay..............nothing. I mentioned how many times I had stayed at TB and received no appreciative gestures back.I felt as though he had little compassion and was only interested in getting rid of me and moving to the next person in line, another repeat guest complaining about over-charges at the TB spa. Goodbye TB.
