Spent a long weekend at the Dreams Los Cabos to celebrate a friends birthday. What a beautiful resort with great amenities and top notch service. Manny and Sabrina took great care of us as did Luis at the pool bar. Highly recommend!

    Excellent customer service- cold pool

Overall this resort was really good and I'd recommend it...but only if you aren't looking to spend a ton of time in the resort pool. This, of course, would be dependent on the time of year of your travel but for January- the pool was cold. It does say on the website that it is heated but I'd guess to only 70F? (Hopefully, the resort can respond to clarify). There is a single hot tub but due to the pool temp it was pretty packed- and it is of note that there is a sign that says that no children are allowed. I only saw this enforced one time though as I think the staff understood that the pool was cold. Pool aside- the resort itself was pretty good. It's on the smaller side which is a perk when you have smaller kiddos going back to the room. The food is what you'd expect- good but not great. Plenty of restaurants to choose from and you dont have to make reservations which is nice. The best meal we had was at Bordeaux which was an adult only (the kids just ate in the kids club the evening we ate there). Our server at Bordeaux was named Hector and he bent over backward making the night special for us. I also wanted to give special thanks to the workers in the Explorers club Joyce, Valeria, and Jazmin. They did a really good job with our boys ages 4 and 8. Both spent time in the club daily which was great as it gave the adults time to go to the gym and have a nice dinner. Explorer's club had a splash pad, playscape, rock wall, trampoline, batting cage, gaming chairs/games, movies, and crafts. The service at the hotel was really good all around. The staff by the pool would help to bring umbrellas for the kids to have shade, find you a chair when people had left towels to hold space but not return, get food/beverages, organize pool games, ect. Our room was cleaned daily, beds turned down at night, drinks restocked daily. There was also a great coffee bar that we visited multiple times a day and the staff was always really patient and kind as the kids picked out treats and ordered hot cocoa. In summary, I think the service at this particular resort is what sets it apart for me. We did not get pressured to listen to a timeshare type of talk ONE time. It was a wonderful trip and we greatly appreciate the efforts of the staff to make our family feel welcome. Cheers!
