Have spent 6 nights here. Hotel modern and clean. Meals a bit pricey for what you get. Staff make this place. Happy and helpful the whole time I was here. The staff are a credit. Only disappointment was No smoking area. Understand that the hotel has a policy but in the middle of the night you need a safe area to have a smoke and this was not the case. Had to go out to the roadside for a smoke.
Not a " Bonwoy" experience
Nice lobby, great location however rooms are in desperation for upgrades!!. Dirty and old carpet in hallways and rooms. Old shower heads with calcium residue, rust around all metals, old tub, dirty walls.
We found the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani to be clean and tidy
We enjoyed staying at the Sheraton Princess Kaiulani as it was centrally located in the heart of Waikiki, we were close to tour pick up shopping restaurants. The staff at the check in counter were very professional and resolved any problems if you encountered one. The checkin and check out was done very professionally. Good Location food is good service is good I would definitely return back to this hotel
So much for upgraded room...
Got to the hotel, had to pay about 37 per day for parking and plus resort fees with tax. Wanted an ocean view, they said it would be 160 a night to upgrade. Okay, it’s our wedding anniversary and first time in Hawaii, so why not. We get up to the room, the room was definitely not upgraded and completely outdated. We were seriously pissed that this was what they considered an upgrade. I wish we would have book somewhere else. We could have gotten way more bang for the buck, especially how much we paid. Definitely upsetting. Thank god, we’re checking out today and going home.
Old style hotel, great plan layout around pool and lovely ocean views.
After seeing some poor reviews just prior to leaving for Honolulu we were so pleasantly surprised to find such good service. After arriving around 6.39 AM we were given a hospitality room to rest and freshen up. Around 11AM we were given our lovely ocean view room. Settled in well and found the hotel’s cafe was excellent and well priced. We could not fault the hotel and we have stayed thousands of nights with different hotel groups around the world. Value for money, absolutely.
