***PLEASE READ*** Do not... DO NOT waste your time or your money!! I belive in giving people chances. I read the reviews and thought how bad could it be?! WELL... it was HORRIBLE!! Favorite words from customer service staff is Sorry and NO we cannot help you! The only nice thing I can say out of ALL the people we encountered RUPERTA and CANDIDO from the Pool Buffet by the beach were EXCEPTIONAL. Always with a smile and very pleasant. Also... our AC was phenomenal!! However, when discussing issues with Gabriel from the concierge... he was non chalant when he said "Oh.. at least yours works!!" CONS: where do I begin?! I asked for a king bed with a cot or couch for my son... we got 2 full size beds! Woke up to grouping of bites on my legs which appeared to be BED BUGS! The food was HORRIBLE and all of us including the other couple we were with came home sick and I was in EXCRUTIATING Pain with severe stomach cramps (which it is quite possible I have a parasite!!). They are harassing you about a FREE breakfast where they try to sell you a time share. Please spare yourself the trouble! We asked for an ocean view... we had an ocean view with a view and smell of a beach that was overun with seaweed! Customer service was horrible! They treated us with disreguard and very dismissve about our issues. When I asked for another room, I was told sorry no we cannot help! Management was not helpful AT ALL!! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Stayed here for 2 weeks from 25th of june this hotel is not 5 star food was very repetitive have had better in cheap hotels in spain we requested more water as2 bottles a day was not adequate for me as i have to drink a lot was promised it everyday no joy even the tui reps were lied to and told it was arranged after seven days and paying extortionate prices in the onsite shop we left a note in spanish and received what was requested concierge manager either doesnt care or just thinks he can lie and you will give up majority of the staff are great few with serious attitude problem went to 24 hour bar was told it was closed but were still serving others? and we were not drunk a la carte restaraunts not great except for the french that is the best rooms are dated but clean lock everything away had my pack of razor blades stolen petty theft more frusrating than anything else also you are a long way from anywhere need to use shuttle bus or taxi to get out of resort beach is totally smelly not hotels fault but very dissapointing would not reccomend this hotel to my worst enemy look elsewhere as for reply from hotel on reviews seems like they only give lip service to bad ones and never address the issues raised save your money and look elsewhere mexico is great hotel is not think most of the good reviews are fabricated off fake people or people who just settle for anything
Lovely hotel, poor service & little things let the holiday down.
Myself and my partner stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed our stay however a few things let the hotel down which meant we couldn’t see ourselves returning to this hotel taken into account the money we paid. The hotel has a fair few ala carte restaurants to choose from: Buffet- good choice of food as expected with a buffet Mexican - very bland, tasteless and basic food, disappointing night considering you’d expect the Mexican to be the best restaurant. Steakhouse- Lovely steak meal however lighting in restaurant was very poor. I see lots of people having to use their flashlights on their phones to see the menu. Seafood & french restaurant- lovely food and choices, can’t complain. Italian - had a nice variety on the menu however the pizza is basic and exactly the same pizzas you can get from the buffet at lunchtime. Oriental - Great tasting food and lovely choice on menu, waiter Francisco couldn’t do enough for us and we came out of the Oriental feeling fully satisfied. The big problem about this restaurant is the dress code meaning you’ll have to wear trousers/jeans in Oriental, French, Mexican and Italian but not at the others. Far too hot to be wearing trousers in this heat so had to take a change of shorts to wear after every meal out. The women can wear anything they wish as long as it’s not bikinis, so women can wear shorts sandals etc but Men had to wear closed shoes and long trousers. The rules however we feel we’re different for Mexicans and some other guests as they didn’t pull them up for wearing shorts whereas I was forced to wear trousers that the hotel provided for the duration of my meal? This rule can be hit and miss so would advise wearing trousers just in case! Staff service for offering coffee/tea in the morning was very poor, were rude in how they spoke to people, trying to stop people coming into breakfast 15 minutes before they closed at 11? Mexicans again however were treated differently and were provided drinks when they arrived, and were even being seated in the sections they had closed off towards the end of breakfast as they said they were ‘closed to sort out lunch tables’. We saw people get annoyed at the waiters/staff closing off the breakfast restaurant earlier than they should and pushing the chairs they had used to block off the restaurant out the way to get into breakfast . There was a handful of staff who we found to be friendly but came accross numerous rude members of staff, even a member of staff who refused to take a photo of us both, just said ‘no’ and then walked off. The hotel has really lovely grounds and you can’t complain with how clean the hotel is kept. The lighting can be improved at nighttime as can be very dark walking back to your room. The hotel is very big so the buggy taxi is a must during the day going from your room to the pool/lobby etc. As with every hotel shops, they can be expensive and this proved to be the case here, 3 bags of crisps - €20, paracetamol - $8 , best best to bring these things before hand to save money etc. The big pool is run down and has sharp/broken tiles which I cut myself on a couple of times. If you sunbathe by the pool, they have a problem with the seaweed at the moment so the sea is very dirty and smelly when your sitting nearby, the further you go out to sea, the clearer/cleaner it became. The main pool was quite dirty and had various things floating about in it. Flies, hair etc. Drinks at the hotel were of a good choice offering various cocktails, spirits etc but where they do not provide straws, many drinks /were hard to drink without one. They only gave straws out during the daytime for pineapple and coconut drinks by the pool but at nighttime straws were banned which seemed odd. The hotel offers great excursions local to the area which can be booked in the main lobby. We swam with dolphins at Dolphinaris ($140 for two people )which was an amazing experience and would highly recommend. Jet ski, snorkelling etc can also be booked on site. Entertainment : The entertainment was okay but could have been allot better. Appreciate the hotel for putting on entertainment at night but at times we decided to have an early night where it became boring to watch. They done grease, Michael Jackson when we were their however the shows didn’t really relate to these and seemed to get sidetracked into doing their own thing. They had a live singer who was brilliant and it got people dancing/singing etc however he was the only live singer we saw for the two weeks we were there and he was only on for an hour which was a real shame. The hotel had some fantastic wildlife within the hotel. Just walking around the hotel you come accross deer, iguanas, lemurs, meerkats. All in all, we had a very lovely relaxing holiday but the little things mentioned above just affected our experience meaning we wouldn’t return to this particular hotel for the money we paid and the service etc we received. Well what can I say...this place is great! The accommodations are good but you need to double check that your services are working properly. Our sink was clogged. However, the staff is very attentive and as soon as I reported the issue, it was fixed. Need to plan early during the day with the concierge your dinner plans since restaurants require reservations for dinner. Overall a great place to stay!
Fantastic stay!! The resort was great with amazing food and lots of entertainment and life. The service was also fantastic! Marcos May was our concierge and was very helpful with all our questions and needs. Would highly recommend and would definitely return in the future!
