Very nice resort.
The only thing that kept Dreams Riviera Cancun from receiving an excellent review, was the beach, over which they had little control. The pools were excellent! The restaurants and staff were excellent.
Staff made sure it was “my pleasure”
I was here for a wedding and had an absolute blast. A few outstanding staff I’d like to give kudos to: tour guide Gloria who biked us into puerto Morelos, bartender Ricardo, and the Mario duo at swing bar. These folks had service with a smile, laugh, and always went the extra mile. My wife and 3 month old had a great vacation.
DREAMS DO COME TRUE
My first vacation to an AM owned resort and I was EXTREMELY impressed. Been to other chains but the luxury I experienced here was awesome. The staff are simply AMAZING people catering to anything you need or want and done so with a warm sincere smile. They are SO genuine and treat you like family. I had the pleasure of meeting the General Manager Ralph Cordova as he was hands on walking around the complex to express my gratitude. The abundance of food, special events and overall ambiance of this resort is exceptionall!!! You are truly pampered and treated like family. As in most reviews the beach is a bit of a let down. Don't let that bother you. It's a small glitch in an otherwise glorious experience throughout the complex. Far too many people to thank for making our vacation spectacular.
We absolutely loved the resort! The staff at Dreams is amazing and the food at ALL restaurants was fabulous! My favorite was the impromptu beach cookout on Saturday! It was spectacular with music and drinks and great grilled goodness!! My only complaint is the seaweed on the beach! Other than that, this would be a 5 star rating!!
We really enjoyed our visit. We attended a wedding in June, we stayed 5 days/4 nights. Rooms: we had an ocean view, double bed. We were really impressed with the room, it was a great set up for a family of 4. We never felt like we were on top of each other. Food: pretty typical of any resort. We only ate at the buffet and Seaside grill, simply because we have two young toddlers. The Seaside Grill offers yummy food, it was really nice because we didn’t have to walk far to get lunch and then continue the fun at the pool. Drinks were great, just need to ask for the quality liquor for drinks. Obviously a tip helps. Grounds: Always beautiful. Beach/Pool: pools were really fun, we spent our time at the activity pool because our daughters liked that pool best. Plus, the service was great. Beach: our 4 year old was looking forward to building a sand castle but the water was so murky and the dead seaweed was stinky, not the hotels fault.
