I am going back!!
We had a wonderful weeks vacation. Our room was a one bedroom that sleeped 6. So a pullout couch for 2 in living room and also another in bedroom that had a king size bed. Large master suite bathroom with jacuzzi style tub and separate large walk in shower. The 2nd bathroom had a washer and dryer and a walk in shower. The kitchen was big with all the dishes and things you would need to cook. It had 2 balconies one with a table, 4 chairs and 2 lounge chairs the other off living room just table and 4 chairs. Great for eating yiu morning breakfast and watching the ocean. We got breakfast most days at the Fort Amsterdam Cafe and then ate it on tge go or on the balcony. We only had in problem with the room. There was a pungent smell in the room. When you first walk in it is overwhelming but then u guess yiy got used to it. They had a humidifier and air fresheners to help but it didnt work. I asked several maids and no one could tell me what it is from. All in all the resort has everything you need a store for drinks and a easy meal to make. 3 great pools, restaurants that were good and a bar with live entertainments each night. Every staff member was courtesies, and friendly.
Plan on renting a car...The Pure Ocean resturant is very expensive to eat at. They do have a grill that has better prices! The new pool is awesome! Our room had a dirty floor and it seemed to take housekeeping staff a long time to get your new towels for the day. The staff are very friendly!
Great Stay at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort
Divi Little Bay Beach Resort Philipsburg Great Stay, Highlighting Exceptional Staff Members 725005753 My husband and I went to St. Maarten to celebrate his birthday. It was our first time on the island and although recovery from Hurricane Irma is still ongoing, we enjoyed our stay at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort. This resort was rebuilt after the hurricane and our room, as well as the landscaped grounds are beautiful. St. Maarten (Dutch side) is further along in recovery than St. Martin (French side) but the island is still naturally beautiful. At Divi Little Bay, I want to uplift some staff members that made our trip memorable. First, Alexander, who operates a shuttle for guests, has his own personalized 4-hour tour of St. Maarten/St. Martin. (This is known by the resort, so no problem with me mentioning it). We took Alexander's very affordable tour and it was exceptional! His tour was personalized to ours and another resort couple's interests, and he provided our favorite drinks along the way. Alexander drove us all around the island, stopping at an iguana pond so we could feed the ducks and large iguanas, shared island history (why the Dutch/French sharing of the island), stopped for lunch as LoLos, a favorite local spot for food, and advised where to eat, shop and snorkel. After learning of my husband's birthday, Alexander suggested a romantic French restaurant (Sol e Luna) and had reservations made there. He also arranged for transportation for that night so we could fully enjoy the evening with taking our rental car. That's service beyond in my opinion! I also want to commend Divi Little Bay staff members, Mislyn, who helped with room decorations for my husband's birthday, Amos, who was very helpful with island information especially great restaurant recommendation, and Madeleine, who worked at the outdoor grill cafe, and always had a beautiful personality whenever we saw her. We dined at all three of the on-site restaurants (Pure Ocean, Sea Breeze, grill cafe near bar) and enjoyed the meals. We dined off-site frequently because we had a rental car and wanted experience local cuisine and the great French restaurants in St. Martin. Each night, there was a different live band playing at the Little Divi around the bar area and each band was excellent so we enjoyed the music and dancing.
Always wonderful, like coming home.
As always outstanding, Larry at the front desk checked us in and while we arrived late, Larry and Sandra made sure we got settled quickly and easily. Outstanding. Janey provided maid service most of the week regularly checking to see if we were happy. Outstanding. Louisina working at Amsterdam Café suggested we try the new gelato and fruit smoothies, her suggestions were a great help and as always the daily soups made our mid-day. Outstanding. While all the staff at Pure Ocean were great, server Reimundo really stood out. Outstanding. Mina and Sussan gave us our owner's update. They were Outstanding. Gizmo's Bar is still a go-to for us. Pierre at Gizmo's always makes us feel like family. Outstanding. I know that I already mentioned Sandra but everytime we saw her on campus she asked how we were. Outstanding employees like Sandra are why we are still thrilled that we bought a time-share at Divi Little Bay Beach Resort.

As always the staff was on their game. We come back "home" to Divi Little Bay every year. The accomodations, food and libations are always great. Leroy, Lew, Pierre, Jeremy, Stephen will always take care of you be it at Gizmo's or Seabreeze.
