Feb 06, 2026Wedding & Event Group Terrible Customer Service & Communication
I DO NOT recommend this property for Wedding and Events due to lack of communication and terrible customer service from the Wedding & Group Event te. I’m planning a 150-guest vow renewal event and really wanted to have this event at Secrets Baby Beach Aruba. For the last 3 weeks my event planner and I have been constantly emailing the Wedding & Event Group at this location and it has taken at minimum 5 days to get an appropriate response. In addition the response is after I complain about the lack of communication. Mind you I’ve already received responses for all of my questions from 3 different Sandals locations within 3 days. The people at Secrets Baby Beach Aruba that lack communication and are terrible with customer service are NJURELY LYNCH Groups & Wedding Manager and Ghislaine Francisco Groups & Wedding Coordinator. In addition I had a question regarding room costs for my 150 guests, and my question was forwarded to Juliana Rowe on Tuesday and still no response or follow-up. This experience makes me not even want to inquire about other Secrets properties. I’m so disappointed and upset. Do better Secrets Baby Beach. If Hyatt or Secrets management reaches out, I have email chain to support my complaint.

Feb 06, 2026Still very new during trip, but would definitely return!
My husband and I came to celebrate our anniversary in July 2025. It was new and was still working out kinks, but we can tell it's going to be a great resort. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Erwin checked us in at the PC lounge and, when he couldn't find our butler, gave us a tour and brought us to our room. I think we only saw our butler once, and there were 2 times where we did see him but he didn't even recognize us. Another butler, Anthony, assisted us to our new room the following day (we were upgraded and told we would move early afternoon, but it wasn't until almost dinner time). Our new room was fantastic. We saw Anthony multiple times and he was always very friendly. Nothing was done in recognition of our anniversary (these resorts usually do something) but I'll attest that to our lack of a butler and the newness of the resort. It didn't ruin our trip. Dining. Oceana the food was good. Our waiter was Adonis on his 2nd day. He was working really hard and I'm sure by now he is great. Emilio at Portofino was also very eager to learn and very attentive. The lights there were very bright though and there was a lot of noise coming from the hibachi. The food was good everywhere we ate. We had breakfast in the buffet each morning, and Margherita, Rosanna and Mercedes were all fantastic there. We loved hanging by the preferred pool in the afternoon. In the mornings we went to the beach and stayed until around 12/1:00 when it got crowded. We did not go to the regular pool. Snorkeling at the beach was great! Outside of the resort, we rented a car (from the airport) for the week and so glad we did! We ate dinner outside the resort one night and did an overnight on the north side of the island at the Hyatt Regency. I like Secrets better as a resort than the Hyatt, but the whole vibe up there is different. Much busier. But we did a wine tour, saw the lighthouse and went to dinner up there, then did a snorkel tour, which was really cool. We also took 1/2 day to drive into the national park (takes up 25% of the island!) and explored caves and the coast and the gold mines. Very cool. Driving around was very easy, and fun. I felt like I was in Mario Cart in our little car (minus the explosions). Overall I would definitely come back, but maybe split the time between the resort and another part of the island. I do really love to relax and unwind while on this type of vacation. But I'm so glad we also explored the island.

Desert stay
Beautiful facility but under staffed and only 4 restaurants. In a great need for more restaurants and or a buffet dinner option. No lobster offered.No reliable transportation down the steep hill to beach or up the steep hill back to resort.Very beautiful but slippery tile everywhere saw people slip and fall daily.This is a one in done resort for use.Also do not pay for preferred not worth it same as regular stay they don’t distinguish between regular and preferred and the so called upgrade liquor is the same as pool bar very disappointing.

I had the pleasure of visiting Secrets Resort in January as part of a teacher exchange, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful immaculate grounds, stunning views, and such a relaxing atmosphere from the moment you arrive. Everyone is very welcoming. The resort and island felt very safe. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. Emilio was amazing to work with, as was Tay both went above and beyond to make sure everything was seamless. A special shoutout to Boogie from the gym, who was awesome, motivating, and so helpful throughout my stay. The food was excellent, the service was outstanding, and the overall energy of the island truly lives up to its reputation as the happy island. Thank you, Secrets, for such a wonderful experience. I’m so grateful for the hospitality and can’t wait to come back!

This secrets needs a lot of improvements in regards to taste of food from the available restaurants (mostly the Italian and Japanese), the size of the portions served as well, the buffet is not available for dinner & should be, service from employees in general, & access to the beach as well as umbrellas or some sort of shade which is not offered to the guests of secrets. The property is beautiful, the beach is also beautiful. I had higher expectations from the hotel due to the amount paid for this stay.
