    Very Disappointing

I booked an ocean view room with a balcony. When we arrived, the room was a bay view and the very noisy parking lot. I asked the front desk, and they said that I should have booked an ocean front room, but I could move for an additional charge, and it would be by the pool. The rooms were supposed to be newly renovated, but the bathtubs already had the coating peeling and there was mold in the grout, the walls were painted a dark teal and showed every gross bodily excrement. I ordered a ribeye steak at the Piko restaurant, and it was so tough and yet fatty at the same time and was about 1/4 inch high and $47. The manager did remove it from our charges. The pools looked murky. I was afraid to get in. The food at the Feast and Fire Luau was also an extreme disappointment.

    If you like cruise ships...

This is a great spot for families and smokers. Our room was clean but the rest of the resort could use a serious upgrade.

    A little bit of paradise

Loved this resort. Whether you are a family or a couple celebrating an anniversary, you are treated like family. They have a family pool and adult pool. The breakfast Buffett yummy. From check-in to housekeeping could not be more accommodating. Casual dining great Bar and Grill. Had dinner at Piko restaurant and the tomahawk Pork Chop and truffle 🍟 scrumptious. My first choice Resort. Loved the Hola Hola Market and open until 10pm. So convenient.

Disappointing experience- room in a construction site

Disappointing experience. We had a great view from our room out over the cliffs and ocean but no one mentioned that it was above major construction work going on at the hotel. As we arrived on a Sunday when work wasn’t going on and were out all day the next day we only realised the room was literally uninhabitable between 8 and 4 on our last day. We had already found the front desk staff disinterested and not inefficient at check in - we arrived early and our room wasn’t ready, they indicated they would advise us when it was but didn’t, just left us to come back at 3pm. Our room wasn’t serviced on one day - we advised guest services of our issues but received no real apology or explanation. Recommend you don’t go here until construction is finished (no spa, which like the construction no one advised us of) or for the service, but the views are fantastic and the Voyager Club is nice.
