If you are visiting Queenstown, Le Petit Chef experience in Crowne Plaza hotel is a must!
Le Petit Chef, amazing experience, great service and the best food! Would definitely recommend, if you have never experienced anything like this.

Don't stay at the Crowne Plaza
The location is great, but that's it. When it rained (which it rains a lot in Queenstown), our room smelled like mold because water entered our room from the balcony that did not drain properly. We could not use our balcony because of all the water too. We could see the headboard was previously warped due to mold and rain damage that has occurred for many years. The rooms are extremely outdated. On top of that, because of the rain, our bathroom smelled awful due to their sewage line issues. Both incidents we noticed after coming back to our room over five hours later. It took them over 30 minutes for someone to come to our room, while we breathed in the toxic fumes. We also had to call and ask twice before someone came to our room. We were offered a different room at 11pm and we left the next morning. When we pointed out the issues, the staff did not care to look at or smell the issues in our room. That is poor service and would not recommend someone staying here. Only if you want to get ripped off for such a high price that they justify for the location and have poor staff service would someone stay here. They did not care about our health and safety.

Nice comfortable hotel with a great location
Great hotel in excellent location. Close to center square and the steamboat Wharf. Staff was nice even during a very busy time. Parking was also very easy. Room accomodated our family of 4 easily. Try for harbor views on higher floors

Staff make this place epic
Stayed here for New Year’s Eve and got upgraded to a lake view top floor room. Yes the room is a little dated and the ai don a little slow, but the staff make this place AMAZING. Little gifts throughout the stay, barista coffee at breakfast too.

Overall good experience but couple of put offs
Stayed here for four nights over the new years. Great location of the hotel right in front of the lake. Staff was largely cordial and helpful. The rooms were good but came across a bit old though Two major put offs were - for four days they served same breakfast. At this room night price, they should change the menu at least once. Limited options for vegetarians. And there is expectation for guests to carry their own luggage up until inside the reception - very odd for this kind of hotel
