Stellaris and Gabriel over the top
Stellaris is our go to favorite hotel on our go to favorite Island, Aruba. They make it feel like our second home. Our waiter, Gabriel, out on the beach was top notch. He serves with timely and personal excellence. We'll look for him when we go back!

40th Wedding Anniversary
I planned a trip to Aruba, for my wife's and I's 40th wedding anniversary. I contacted the hotel prior to booking, to inform them of the occasion, and how I wanted everything to be perfect for us. I initially dealt with the GM of the Marriott, who then put me in touch with his assistant Verna. Verna made sure all the right people were in place for us to enjoy our stay. And enjoy we did!! The entire staff made us feel so welcome and special. It was as if The Marriott rolled out the red carpet for us! There are 3 individuals that deserve special mention: Nathaniel the Adult Pool Clerk, Tozi the waitress at Mercat, and Sha-Kima the Marketing executive. All 3 of these individuals went above and beyond to ensure we had a safe, fun and just a great trip. They were genuinely concerned that everything was as we expected. The local expression that Aruba is: One Big Happy Island" is true!! We cannot wait to not only return to Aruba, but to book our stay with Aruba Marriott!! THANK YOU ALL!!

Heaven on earth
We have been going to Aruba for 28 years. This place will make you feel like home if you just let it. Everyone is welcoming and so service orientated. Retention on hotel staff is 2nd to none. They have beach chair set up people who have been there 28- and 30 years. This resort is going thru a renovation. The results are magnificent. I have seen and heard some very stupid complaints over the past. People leave there Privacy on there door and wonder why the room is not done or they missed the floor rotation time. People will complain just to complain. Especially during a renovation no understands really what going on, and how much harder it is on the staff to keep people happy. The amenities and access pool and beach service are fantastic. Walking distance to shopping restaurants, casinos. Cabs are cheap. Restaurants are authentic. The GM is the most connected man I have ever seen with a a resort campus of this size. He is always interacting with guests, making sure your happy and getting what you need. Please go here, go to relax the sunsets alone are stunning.

Exceptional Experience - Exceeded Expectations
We just left Aruba Saturday after spending eight nights at this Marriott. This review will be detailed, but I cannot say enough good things about our experience - staff, cleanliness, beautiful grounds, operation of hotel, drinks, and food. I’ll start with the minimal cons: The mattresses are extremely firm. This may be a complete personal preference, but both my adult sister and I actually found them painful. To the point that our backs hurt when we woke up and we had to rotate sleeping positions throughout the night because our hips hurt. I’ve experienced this before at another resort when traveling. That said, we asked the front desk for mattress toppers, and they had two people up there with two mattress toppers in less than 15 minutes to put them on the beds. Honestly, they didn’t really help but the hotel definitely made the effort. I never went back and told them there were still firmness issues so that is on me. Also… I’m not a big fan of their down pillows. They’re just so flat once you have put your head on them for five minutes. My sister swapped him out for foam and she said they were much more comfortable. The other con is what they use as their shower door/curtain. It’s literally a piece of glass that is approximately half the width of the shower. We tried very hard, but literally the water was always on the floor outside the shower and the mats were soaking wet. I’m honestly not sure how this isn’t a bigger problem and they don’t deal with a lot of water damage. Annoying, but not a dealbreaker as a guest. OK, now the pros: We booked our trip through Costco, which also included some additional benefits, and I am a Bonvoy member. I thought the resort would be nice, but it far exceeded our expectations. I would 100% stay here again when I come back to Aruba. The location is great on Palm Beach because you can walk everywhere. But what really made the experience special was the staff. They were incredible! Every person we encountered was friendly and helpful. Varun checked us in upon arrival and he was very thorough with all of the resort amenities, how out Costco benefits would apply, made great restaurant recommendations and he was just top notch all around! And when we came back throughout our stay with questions… He was always very thorough in answering them. I would 100% want this guy representing my business. Junaidy also helped us a couple times and she was absolutely lovely as well! Had drinks at the lobby bar a couple evenings… And that staff was incredible as well! The bar manager explained their unique sushi on our first night… Which we could not wait to try! The drinks were amazing (hibiscus margarita and regular margaritas to name a couple) and we had sushi one night at the lobby bar which is probably the best sushi I’ve had in a really long time. Plus, they have a nice festive vibe in the lobby in the evenings so loved all of that. We did spend most nights out at more local restaurants, which was easy because we could walk to everything. Our room was great! I’m assuming we had one of the newly remodeled up over the pool… Looking out toward the ocean… I’m not sure though. It was clean, floors and bathroom all seemed fairly new… did not seem outdated to us at all. And while the beds were firm, the bedding was actually very comfortable and felt very clean. The grounds are beautiful! We actually walked around quite a LOT just exploring the Palm Beach area (and Eagle Beach) … checked out some other hotels… and have to say they we felt like our resort was one of the best in the area. Beautiful pool and beautiful beach area. We know we were there during off-season, but even the guys working in the pool and the beach area a were amazing at helping us find chairs when everything looked like they were full. And we loved being right there on the water. I mean, the location is great. And the adult pool was beautiful as well. Great service and chill vibe. Also, the hotel has a two-level fitness center! This is actually very important to me when I travel and I avoid hotels where they have minimal equipment because I want to ensure that I can exercise when I want to exercise and not have to wait or come back. The gym was pristine… clean, great equipment, and fresh infused water and fruit every day. Plus, by booking through Costco, we had additional room/resort credits … and another 10 to 15% off food being a Bonvoy member… so we felt it was incredibly reasonable for a pretty extraordinary resort. But even without all of that, I would 100% stay here again. Thanks to the staff for the amazing experience! Cannot wait to come back!

Sub-par place
We stayed for 3 nights for a girl’s weekend- booked three rooms. The people that work there are extremely unfriendly (and at times rude). The place is going through a renovation- I had a renovated room and it was lovely. My friends had a non-renovated room and it was depressing. The room is the only positive thing I have to say about this place. We are all Gold or Platinum elite and will never return. Hyatt is my favorite comparable place on the island and I cannot recommend it enough. St Regis or Ritz for luxury.
