Feb 10, 2026Very friendly and clean resort.
The staff are out of this world, the concierges go out of their way to be helpful. The personal are very friendly and always greet clients with a smile from the room cleaners to the restaurant staff. The complex is very clean. The food and wine are good. They should open a pasta and pizza station. They had very fun themes for the suppers. The coffee shop should open at 7:00 a.m. or earlier. The last few days of our stay the elevator in our building was not functional until 8 or 8:30a.m. for early risers that was a problem when returning to our room as we were on the fifth floor. There is no beach so beware but you can go for a long walk towards other resorts, just watch out for high tide as there is a few places that you have to step over rocks and other things.

This was my second time to this resort. Went with 9 other family members and did a Prestige package which included butler service. I cannot say enough positive things about Karen and Joaquin. They took such great care of us, booked our dinners, Bali beds by the pool, made sure we didn’t miss out on any of the fun events going on at the resort. I woke up sick one day and Karen even offered to send me tea and chicken noodle soup to the room. She’s the sweetest. We will be back!

GREAT Stay!!
Just returned from a 6 night stay. 2nd time we've stayed at Margaritaville. Had a GREAT time!! Weather was nice. ( Could have been a little warmer) Wanted to give out a big Thank-You to Denise who was our Concierge who checked on us every day to make sure everything was good. To Edwin, who took care of us at Frank & Lola's. To Eric who took care of us at JWB Steakhouse and to Higinio (Gino) who took care of us at the Boathouse Breakfast and the Landshark Lunch. These people did a FANTASTIC job. The whole staff worked very hard to make our stay enjoyable. We'll be back!!

Fun trip but little quiet for me.
The resort was beautiful. The pool was freezing. There was no beach even to walk on. The entertainment is lacking. I would love to see more entertainment during day and night esp. Humberto who was our professional concierge was amazing. He was so helpful and did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. I would go to him anytime.

A Relaxing Retreat with Stellar Service
A truly relaxing stay with top-notch service, highlighted by an exceptional butler team and awesome entertainment. The thoughtful touches, like returning to a hot rose bath, made it special. The staff were universally friendly and welcoming. Be aware there is no beach access. While trips to Cancun are easy, they are costly. The food is generally good, but availability can be limited at times; when only Landshark is open, expect smaller portions. Plan dining around this to avoid inconvenience. Ideal for: Those seeking a pampered, adults-oriented getaway focused on service and relaxation over beach access.
