Although an older property, very clean, excellent service and food. A special shout out to Adriano, who conducts the stretch class at the Somma Wine Spa. The staff are very caring and attentive and happy. A joyful place to spend your vacation.

FOR SURE, it's worth visiting.... Wonderful place
First time in Cabo and 1st in Grand Fiesta Americana, and what a wonderful stay. We did some research for all-inclusive (adults) and we decided on it. For sure it was worth it. We booked a superior sea view room, and it was wonderful, the room was on the 4th floor and it was fairly large, it has a huge bathroom with a bath tub and a huge shower. Very comfortable. The swimming pools are great, we never felt that they we crowded. The beach was great, even though the water was still cold, the life guard was little annoying, because it wasn't a "swimmable beach". Anyhow, We've enjoyed the food, almost throughout all restaurants, specifically the Peninsula, BLU and Sushi Sky bar. The staffs at the restaurants were always attentive, they always asked if we have any food allergies. The breakfast area at the Vina del Mar was HUGE, we haven't seen so many selections for breakfast like this throughout all of our travels. Drinks kept coming & coming, there was no shortage. However, we've know this before we booked it but the location is way too far from anything, from town or the marina. The Resort didn't offer any complimentary shuttles. You have to pay for it, each way and per person. Plus during the checking, the time-share sales "push-offers" wasn't cool, specially for first-timers. Let us at least have a taste of the area, then maybe we might be interested.

Great Resort, Would Come Again
We loved our stay here. The resort grounds are beautiful. The beach and pools are nice. All of the food at every restaurant was good, as well as the cocktails from every bar. We got the ocean view standard room, nothing fancy but was all that was needed. Shoutout to our favorite server on the beach, Alejandro!

There are both pluss's and minus's at GFA Cabo resort. Pluss's - great staff & friendly people, nice grounds & pool design, good food at most resturants, great Sea of Cortez & rocky beach views. We were especially lucky to see lots of whale activity (consider taking binoculars). Beach area had plenty of loungers & sun cover. Public restrooms maintained well. Room bathroom had good soap & lotions. Room cleaning and make up was good also. The MJ show was great but be warned to take ear plugs if at all sensitive to very loud music. Other evenings shows were nice also (again too loud so be careful with childrens ears) Minus's - our room had no electrical plugs for computer or smart phone charging. Consider taking an extension cord or power strip of your own. Only one lamp in the room and no ceiling lights. The resort has a policy to remove towels and place holders from lounge chairs after 1 hour I was told. So if going early to get a good location then don't be surprised to see your stuff missing after returning from a long breakfast. Thankfully a pool/towel staff fella fetched us loungers as all others were taken. Drinks are hit & miss,,,common issue at AI resorts. Overall a good resort, they just need to update the rooms a bit.

The customer service here was so good. We never had to wait more than 20 minutes even a busy restaurant. The Italian restaurant was my absolute favorite. The workers are so kind and don’t expect tips, but you should obviously tip them. The drinks are very good. the food is very good. The room service is very good. It was clean. Everybody was nice. I did not have a bad experience with one person. The location is good. It’s really close to the beach. Everything is just super convenient. I have pretty high standards and I would definitely recommend.
