    Amazing trip

    Absolutely amazing experience. Beach view suites, excellent food and drinks (especially from Janet). But the people who made it amazing were the entertainment team, Maria, Angel, Jose, and especially Luis! Will definitely be back next year!

    GREAT

    Luis was FANTASTIC. There were no dull moments and the energy was never ending. Between Luis and Maria they were great for trivia. Luis never failed to entertain us and was continued energy. He was a great. Luis knew all the words to my favorite song, super bass, by Nicki Minaj which ELEVATED my experience tremendously.

    Luis and music trivia etc

    Luis was an amazing activity person! We enjoyed the music trivia and he also played cards with us on a rainy afternoon. He was personable and funny! He got the crowd going and we were a diverse crowd. He was a great dancer! I would recommend finding the activities he is in charge of. Many thanks Luis!!

    Luis was amazing!

    Luis was amazing! He knew how to keep us entertained. We were laughing so hard and dancing so much! So much fun! All of my family had an amazing time. He showed us a new card game and had us play a music trivia game. So much fun! I can't wait to come back!

    Great staff & lovely gounds

    We visited El Dorado Seaside Palms for 10 nights mid-January from the UK. The hotel is set in reasonably large grounds that are very nice to wander around, rooms are spread across the site in blocks. Our room was a couple of minutes walk from reception & most of the major facilities, be aware some of the rooms are further away & another member of our party asked for a different room as their mobility isn't great & there wasn't an elevator in the block. There are frequent carts travelling the site that will get you around though. Our room (a junior suite I think) was spacious with large double bed, shower room & toilet with twin sink then a whirlpool bath in the main bedroom. The room was clean & tidy but they do look a little dated and probably due a refresh. Balcony was shaded overlooking one of the numerous pools. The biggest positive for the whole place are the staff, friendly throughout which always make a stay even more pleasurable. There are various activities going on around the hotel and we particularly enjoyed the morning Yoga on the Pier, Adriana who ran the sessions is a joy, always has a smile on her face and is really positive. A huge asset to the hotel! The gym was a disappointment, it's quite big but several of the machines were out of order for the duration of our stay. Overall the food was good, quite a lot of choices with a mix of buffet & a la carte restaurants. Booking tables was a bit of pain with very limited availability, they only seemed to have 5:30 or 8:30 available when we tried. That said we don't mind eating later but there were a couple of the evenings where the food was a bit cold at the end of service. We particularly enjoyed the Italian and Oriental restaurants both of which you need to book, also enjoyed the daytime street food at La Sandwicherie, pizza, burger, burrito’s, nacho's etc. Our only significant complaint was at the beach party night when we were told 30 minutes for a table but an hour later no sign of one coming free, so we went elsewhere. The hotel could do with a better system for tables at the beach events. All in all, we enjoyed our stay, it's not perfect but made a for a nice escape to the sun from the UK winter.
