Nice getaway for a few days. Great views from the balcony. Breakfast was our favorite meal of the day. Sitting by the beach. We especially enjoyed the pastry and fresh fruit. The deli was a nice place for coffee and ice cream. Helpful and friendly staff.

Club Sonne was fantastic. The staff are most welcoming and friendly. The team of Nacho, Rafael, Ximena and Mariel looked after us so well. A little slice of heaven away from the bustle of the rest of the hotel. Thank you everyone for making our (double birthday) trip so special. All the best…..

Great vacation at Fiesta Americana
We spent a week at the Fiesta Americana and enjoyed it very much. We’ve been to many all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and this one ranks near the top of the list. We didn’t try the buffet restaurant but the a la cart restaurants were very good (especially the Italian). The shrimp tacos on the beach were to die for and the service was outstanding everywhere at the resort.

Enjoyable Experience, Best Customer Service
We have vacationed in Mexico about 5 times, but this was our first time in Puerto Vallarta. Out of all the resorts we have been to, while this one was the smallest, it also had the most attentive staff with the best customer service. On arrival, we got our wristbands, and were then directed to the elevators. Our room was on the 9th floor (the top & upgraded floor), and the most public elevators were undergoing some maintenance, so we were required to use the service elevators. While this may seem like an inconvenience, I wonder if we got to our floor quicker with the lesser traffic. We got to our room, and being Canadian, we immediately turned down the temperature. The rooms on the 9th floor have a vaulted ceiling, which is very nice to look at, but it makes the room larger, so we were wondering if our A/C was struggling because of that. After 24 hours of the room not getting below 24C, we asked for a portable air conditioner or a different room. It’s nice to note that it seems like they guarantee a room temperature of 22C or lower (as desired). We ended up moving down the hall to a room that had excellent a/c, and we were able to get the room down to 19C every night. Breakfast buffet was always wonderful, and most days (randomly chosen) we found the food at the buffet transitioned to lunch type options & stayed open until around the 4pm mark. After that, your best option is an a la carte supper at the Asian, Mexican, or Italian restaurant. Our favourite was Italian, where my husband loved the steak. We also tried the room service, which was “free” with our Sonne upgrade. One night I wasn’t well enough to get down to the restaurant, so my husband went down to order, and the staff brought the food up to our room. For our anniversary, we indulged ourselves with a couples massage. The spa isn’t large, but is comfortable. We were led to a special 2 table room for our massages, and then afterward we were able to enjoy a private hot tub for 20 minutes. We then lounged by a small rectangular pool, open to customers of the spa. There were a few things to drink & some light snacks available. The sauna & steam room are located within a gender specific space, so my husband and I weren’t able to enjoy those together. The Sonne Club was enjoyable, with the personalized service, easy access to food & drinks, towels & bathroom facilities. I was very pleased to see they had elevator access, as I struggle with chronic illness. They continue to close at 6pm, with the kitchen closing around 5:30pm. The server always gave us the chance for a “last call” food or drink, though, which was very thoughtful. Overall, my experience was great and I would return to this resort in a heartbeat! I would also seriously consider the Fiesta brand in any other resort area, based on the exceptional customer service we experienced.

Vacation as great as expected!
All great as expected! The bathroom sink faucet water pressure could be better without the water restrictive faucet. The cut hole in the shower glass to operate the faucet from outside the shower caused a lot of water to escape onto the floor when taking a shower.
