Ignore the bad reviews. Had no issues with room, shuttles to beach club, or overall service. Get a preferred swim out, do the beach club a few days, and eat at the preferred Grotto and Jasmine, and you will have a great, quiet, vacation. If you want quiet pools and a quiet beach this is the place for you. If you are looking to party, go to Cancun.

Don’t believe the negative reviews. This Secrets is great all around. We are here now. Service very good. Food very good. Facilities great! Entertainment very good. We almost did not come because of all the negative reviews, but it is unbelievable that people could complain about this place? We have stayed at numerous Secrets, numerous other resorts all over Mexico and the world. We have not been disappointed at all with this Secrets. We are so glad we did not listen to the complainers and change our plans. Love it here!

Freezy G in House Secrets Tulum Casa Zamna Beach Club
Was there in Sept October 2024 Preferred Club was not fully operational as pools being cared for Other than that of the 40 properties long stays Visited since 2019 Jamaica Dominican Cuba now Mexico felt a nice vibe not seen before And we were treated better than any other brand or property visited We’re going back Casa Zamna Jan 9 /25 8 nights as my biz is beach in Canada and want to spend 24/7 with Then moving over to the Resort side at Secrets Tulum swim out for 14 nights added Food -Good Service - Best Room - Perfect Management - amazing Staff - smiles Care - excellent We traveled all through Covid See allot of complainer’s here And those who understand that living in a salt air community plays havoc on any resort and its structures We saw the maintenance team and there doing there job as good as any other resort AMR now Hyatt love it all so good great resort It’s going to fly big time I saw the maintenance team

Amazing resort and experience
Secrets Tulum was one of the best resorts we have stayed at. The staff from the second you get there are beyond accommodating. It felt like every single staff members goal was to make your stay better, we really were blown away with the service. I have seen comments and reviews about the food choices and quality before we went and was nervous at first being a big “foodie” and amateur chef. However, I must say do not believe those reviewes at all, the food was amazing. The food choices were wonderful and the taste and quality was great. Overall the quality of the stay was better than all of our expectations. The pools, bars, and lounging areas were incredible. If I had to give one suggestion or area for improvement, it would be to have a restaurant that has Mexican food exlcuivley, with local favorites and classic dishes. We were nervous about a resort that wasn't on the water like all the others we have stayed at. We were pleasantly surprised how much we loved the “middle of the jungle” type feel for when we weren't at the beach. The shuttle was easy to take to the beach, as its just a 10 min trip. The amenities at the beach are great, from the restaurant choices, to the pools and Bali beds. Overall this was an incredible experience and I do recommend getting the preferred package as it was worth every penny with all the extras you get. If your on the fence I recommended you go for it and you will be amazed at how much you love it! Thank you Secrets Tulum for one of the best weeks on vacation we have ever taken.

The whole experience was terrible from the get go. We rented the beach front 5-bedroom villa for over $4k/night. The butler failed to coordinate our airport transfer and we ended up in a terrible bus instead of a comfortable SUV that we paid for. The villa is falling apart. A heavy mirror fell down in the middle of the night waking us up. Luckily no one was in the room at the moment. The villa is poorly built and not well maintained. Even though the villa was built only a year ago, nothing works properly - neither the AC units nor the lighting. Everything has a problem. Early in the AM the public area downstairs opens for other hotel guests. The staff begins to prepare the area as early as 8 am. So we would her loud conversations, singing, furniture scraping. No one cared about our peace and privacy. I have asked the butler to make sure that the staff keeps it down but nothing happened. If you want peace and quiet and privacy - STAY AWAY from this place. You will hear bass from the nearby clubs right in your bedroom. And it will go until 3 am and no one will do anything no matter how much you complain. All the alcohol that's "on the house" is of the lowest quality and not drinkable. Shame on you Secrets Tulum. There was room for improvement when we first came in Feb 2024. But unfortunately it instead turned into a disaster.
