We arrived on New Year’s Eve.. lovely welcome at reception and taken to our room (Tropical Waterfront) . Fantastic views over the bay, beach and resort ❤️. All food is excellent, staff are helpful and there is a relaxed Vibe throughout the resort. Really enjoyed the Coffee shop, Pineapple Grill and all the bars. The outhouse a bbq grill set in the hills above the bay is worth the short walk spotting Hummingbirds and other wildlife on the way. This resort is situated in a windier spot which is great as there was always a cooling breeze. One side of the beach is more sheltered and perfect for snorkelling even for novices. Saw lots of amazing fish ❤️. Tour desk at the resort is great for booking extra activities at a cost, which were well worth it.We did Shirley Heights which was fab seeing the steal band and sampling the local rum punch which packs a punch 🤪 sun set and views were beautiful. Eco tour was nice and sting ray city was a fantastic experience, they pick you up from the beach 🏝️.Made so many friends and this is down to the relaxed atmosphere where everyone seems to want to chat and swap stories… Mostly UK USA and Canadians. Gardens and beach are stunning. If you look carefully you may spot a froggy or two that sing like squeaky doors in the evening 😂 lots of lovely little lizards to spot also. We will be back Rich & Hayley ❤️❤️

So this is a mixed review and I’ll list in order: first and most amazing is the beach!!! Probably one of the best, clearest waters, powdery sand beaches ever. So all in all 10. Room: we got an ocean front room and again, the views of the ocean were spectacular. The room itself was the size of my closet, single pedestal sink with no vanity, old toilet, old outdated shower, cracked tiles BUT clean. My other half was fine staying in this room given the views of the ocean. At the beach, no service, no towels. Every day was a long wait for something as simple as towels. I’m lying on a lounge chair right now with no towels. Water: no replenishment of water in the rooms. It’s a trek down to refill my water bottles … stingy with water but there is water just not as easy to get as could be People: all in all, fantastic people. Everyone was just amazing so between the staff and the beach, a clear 10/10. Food: ok! Loved the Outhouse.. barbecue and salads. Entertainment: ok. I enjoyed the bands and the DJs but so far, no real entertainment. Pineapple Beach Club I may not return. This resort desperately needs updating and a bit more investment in service all around.

Excellent
I can't say enough.Everything was wonderful food excellent .My girl Rene and the other ladies in coffee shop are excellent! My waiter tejourny always smiling big thank you all staff wonderful the beach is beautiful and entertainment nightly .Quite and peaceful.Our life guard very entertaining .We will definitely be back love this place

Great staff and wonderfully location
Let me start with a few of the negatives. There was no wifi at the gym, the gym also had half the main cardio equipment out of order. The evening entertainment was too downbeat even the Christmas Day evening celebration feel flat once the steel band finished. Final slight negative was that the food in the buffet was not hot, more warm. We also booked a tour which was cancelled at the last minutes without notice and rescheduled to Christmas Day which we did not want to miss the activities at the resort so had to cancel. The positives were the location, staff, quality of service, food was good despite the negative mentioned above. The resort was very well maintained and clean. Almost every member of staff would say hello and smiled every time you see them. The service offered by the bar staff, serving staff especially in the coffee shop was excellent. All the food was nice and well prepared, as mentioned it wasn’t always hot which would have been an improvement but still worth a good rating for food. Back to the helpfulness of the staff there was one evening when my daughter and i were waiting for some something by one of the food stations and I guess it was the manager came over and asked if we were ok, I explained we were waiting for something that the chef had said would be ready soon. He asked us to wait whilst he checked and came back and said he would bring it over to us. TOP SERVICE from him in my mind, going above and beyond. Despite the challenges of keeping the report tidy with hundreds of guests and also local wildlife it looked clean and was tidy. The facilities were all good including a comfortable bed. It was easy to book any of the restaurants. Although I do not think we’d go back there were so many guests there that we spoke to that were back for several years in a row. We have stayed at several of the other hotels in the group and this is very close to the St. James Club but I think we preferred that over PBC or the Verandah. Despite there being an above preference I would still say the Pineapple Beach Resort is nice and it will be the right place for many people to enjoy a great holiday.

Great 40th anniversary trip!
We recently had an amazing trip to Pineapple Beach Club to celebrate our 40th anniversary. From the beach to the pools to the grounds to the restaurants we never felt crowded. to us this is important. Finding things to do was never an issue and the staff [especially the ladies at guest services] was amazing. Now as close to paradise as this was ,we do have a couple suggestions. 1 an ice machine somewhere near the top of the resort. It was a long haul from our room to the ice machine. 2 we had no idea how much stair climbing it would be just to get to our room. 56 stairs from the main bar/restaurant area to our room. When you have bad knees this matters. The fact that their are no kids at the resort is a plus as it was a very laid back and friendly environment. All in all we had a great time!
