Our stay at the Grand Velas was simply fantastic …. Very relaxing for the body and soul! The check in process was a breeze, and they had our room ready before normal check-in time; which was wonderful! Ana was extremely helpful and quick to respond to our every need and question. She was able to accommodate our last minute requests, which made our stay all the more enjoyable. We throughly enjoyed the food at the Azul, Frida and Lucca restaurants on site, and made good use of their wonderful spa facilities. I would recommend this place without any reservations whatsoever!!!!

I couldn't have asked for a better trip.
We just returned from a fantastic 4-day, 5-night stay at Grand Velas in Los Cabos, and it was truly unforgettable! The resort itself is stunning, with luxurious accommodations and breathtaking views that made every moment special. Our experience was elevated by our personal concierge, Ana Aranda. She was attentive and accommodating, ensuring that every detail of our stay was perfect. From arranging dining reservations to providing local recommendations, Ana made us feel like VIPs. A special shoutout goes to Israel Frias, the head bartender. He took the time to get to know us. We initially signed up for Tequila Tasting and when we arrived the class was full. So we decided to go to the bar and we explained to Alexi the bartender what had occurred. He suggested we wait a few minutes for Israel who was described as the BEST bartender on the resort. We had our very own Tequila Tasting and Historic experience with drinks that matched our tastes perfectly. His friendly demeanor added to the overall warmth of our experience. Overall, Grand Velas exceeded our expectations, and we can't wait to return. Thank you, Ana and Israel, for making our stay so memorable!

What an amazing place!
My wife, our son and I booked a 4 night stay at the Grand Velas Resort in Los Cabos in September 2024. At first we were thinking about staying at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach but after reading all the positive reviews about this resort, we decided to stay at this location. Let me say, we DEFINITELY made the right decision! We found out once we got there that between the months of May through October the resort is not as busy. It was only at 19% capacity while we were there, which was okay with us because we enjoy the calmness lol. The resort provides a weekly schedule on different entertaining classes for adults and kids. ROOM During booking, I selected the Ambassador Sunrise Suite but after reviewing the pictures and videos, I decided on upgrading to the Grand Class Corner Suite (which was a surprise to my wife and son). The room was absolutely beautiful and spacious (roughly around 1900 sq. ft) The room included a big hot tub and 4 lookout balconies. The main balcony included a small pool which my son and wife loved! The balcony overlooked the Sea of Cortez and some of the beach/pool areas. At night when we would come back from the restaurant, we would see the room set up for bedtime (sheets turned back, lamps on, slippers near the bed, etc.) This room is definitely a must if/when we go back! SPA I booked a Maternal Caress spa for my wife and she booked an Aromatherapy massage for myself. We both agreed that our masseuse did an amazing job. We both recommend going to spa if possible. They will provide you with a $50 spa credit each day (unfortunately you will not be able to accumulate the credit) Not to say too much but please check out the Water Ceremony. It will not disappoint... RESTAURANTS We were able to attend most of the restaurants at the resort. The buffet (AZUL) had delicious breakfast dishes to choose from (even had an omelette station which i visited a couple of times lol). We ate at LUCCA on the first night which is an Italian-Mediterranean restaurant. Our dinner dishes were top-notch. The appetizer breads were tasty (our son enjoyed them lol). The non-alcoholic drinks were delicious. Second night we went to COCINA DE AUTOR, which is a Michelin star restaurant. This was our first time going to a restaurant like this and it did not disappoint! All 8 dishes were tasty. The chefs did an amazing job decorating each plate they provide you. The environment was beautiful! This restaurant will not disappoint you!!! Third night was VELAS 10, which is a seafood/steak restaurant. We decided on the tomahawk steak which we shared together with some sides. The steak was cooked to perfection and the sides were tasty. Our last night was FRIDA which was a Mexican restaurant. Our dishes were delicious and the desserts were so good that I ordered a second one lol. We ordered room service a few times during our stay and the dishes were delicious as well. It would usually take around 30 minutes for our food to arrive at our room. The food service at the pools were nice as well. CHILDREN I will give the resort an A+ on providing activities for the kids. Our son enjoyed the splash pad and the pools They also have a playground as well. There is a Kids Club for children between the ages of 4 and 12 and a Teens Club for teenagers between 13-18. This is a chance for the adults/parents to explore the resort while their kids are having fun at those clubs. If your child is younger than 4, the resort offer babysitting services for a small fee (we used this service once when we ate at COCINA DE AUTOR). I mentioned during booking that we needed a crib, high chair and a tub for our son. The room had all the items in there when we checked in, which made my wife and I happy! CONCIERGE Our personal concierge was Luis. He did an amazing job on checking in to see how we were doing and if it was something we needed, he would get it for us. We left him with a nice tip during checkout. He deserved it! Thank you Luis!! Thank you Grand Velas! My family enjoyed your resort and we cannot wait to go back!

Wonderful, as always
My wife and I are frequent visitorw to Grand Velas Los Cabos, and our trip this time was wonderful as usual. We particularly wanted to write this review to especially compliment our waiter at Lucca Restaurant, Salvador, who was superb -- maybe the best server ever. Everyone at the resort is so nice and friendly, the food is great, and the service excellent. And a special thank you to our concierge, Luis.

Good place to go for a relaxing vacation
Great place to go with friends. The service was excellent. The different restaurants all were a good experience. The Cocina de Autor restaurant was awarded a Michelin star. The dinner there was a sensorial voyage. Every bite was delightful. Friendly and very service oriented staff
