Nov 30, 2024Our Cabo Vacation - good? Perhaps not great…..
We had a great time here, first time in Cabo. We spent most of our time on the beach. Carlos, Guadeloupe and the rest of the beach staff were attentive and amazing and made being in an all inclusive beach resort what it should have been at the beach. I found the food to be fine for a 7 day stay. Our favorite restaurant was the one that is open for the afternoon, mostly lunch with a beautiful view of the beach. I found that by day 7 that the food throughout the 7 restaurants was tiring but that is just me. The property could be loud at night especially when the DJ was spinning tunes. We had at least one room next door that was inconsiderate late at night. You could hear everything through the walls. Our bathroom was fine but the toilet seat was about to fall off and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor which caused mold and mildew. The housekeeping crew did come at least one day and attempted to do a deep cleaning. For the most part the room was fine but the noise around us was somewhat annoying. The staff in this property is professional and accommodating, I felt that our comfort and having a pleasant stay was their first priority. If I were telling any fellow traveler what to be aware of it would be the entitled Americans. We had two encounters with people that were just beyond belief and most of my travel is planned around getting away from these people which may be hard to do in Cabo. Would I go back? Been there done it.

Almost perfect…
Everything is amazing, the food, the services, the views, the turtles and the whales too! However, the pool is chilly as is the hot tub at the spa. Also, the entertainment activities are few and far between. Temperature could be turned up a few notches!

5 top things I liked: Excellent weather - sunny and warm Swimmable beach Short distance from the airport - 15 minutes Super friendly staff A good selection of restaurants with above average food My only suggestions to the resort - lack of activities and the entertainment was sparse. ie: add in a pickle ball court, pool activities etc... Bonus - seeing the whales from the resort

The service was incredible. The beach was amazing and not crowded. The hotel and amenities was top tier. We didn’t leave the resort at all! I will definitely be returning. I enjoyed the adults only as well. The food was nothing impressive but to be expected with all inclusive. Everything else was amazing.

Paradise at Paradisus
Came here for four nights to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint! Fabulous resort on rare swimmable beach with lifeguard on duty. Extremely clean, lovely rooms, and great service. Guadalupe and Carlos at the beach were the best!!! Enjoyed the range of restaurants immensely. Mexican and Japanese restaurants were the stars. Loved the ice cream shop, food truck and coffee bar which were all part of the all inclusive. Ocean view room had a great view and was nice and quiet! Easy Uber ride to San Jose and Cabo towns / check out the arts night in San Jose on Thursdays but go early to avoid the traffic! Highly recommend!
