Staff unfriendly and not accommodating. Our AC didn’t cool the room and it took 24 hours to get a fan, which is not acceptable! The sink water wouldn’t drain, we had to fix that problem ourselves. Good luck getting and keeping towels and washcloths and if you want a robe that says is provided you have to ask for them. The food and drinks were just okay. You won’t starve but you will not be impressed. The pool needed cleaned and was too warm to be refreshing. The beach area is very small but the water was very pretty. Personally, we love the area but when we go back we will not stay here.

Beautiful but dated
My room was a great size but the bathroom was old and dated. No ventilation in the bathroom so it got steamy very quickly. Refrigerator was tiny and in an awkward location, next to bathroom along with coffee setup.

60th Birthday Celebration
Leon was great. He went above and beyond to make sure our group of 26 were satisfied. But with the hotel full there was only so much he could do regarding accommodations. It is very hot in Curacao in September, in my opinion, the AC was not much relief from the heat. The pools are beautiful and the beach is beautiful, if you can stand the sun, those were the best places to be. The entertainment was good, just ended too early. The pools closed too early. After 11 there was not much to do. Although I just turned 60, I thought I would be partying all week.

I did not enjoy my stay! I did share my frustrations with the preferred club representatives and concerns were addressed. (This was daily) Too much work on vacation!!! So what happened: preferred status only grants you access to “top shelf” liquor and a concierge. You make your own drinks and the concierge does nothing. My housekeeper had a nasty temperament. The outdoor open buffet had birds in the uncovered food; they were eating the bread. Room service order took almost 3 hours after learning the resort app was not working - food order placed twice. Overall, many staff members were rude. I am a tipper and I returned home with more than half of tip money.
