    Wonderful hotel, wonderful location

    Great hotel by the beach.

    We loved our stay at the Beachcomber. Stayed in a king ocean view room which was comfortable and spacious. The pool is smallish but fine with a good cafe. But you are so close to the beach you can swim there as well. Special mention to our housekeeper Anita who is wonderful! Loved to see her smiling face every morning.

    Wonderful Stay

    Room was modern and well cleaned and maintained by the delightful floor manager Zhi Yi who has worked at Outrigger for over 30 years, she is their star employee. The hotel is in the perfect location to access all of Waikiki shops, restaurants and the beach.

    Talk about the happiest place in the world and the most outstanding service provided by Kristina! The hotel is centrally located, easy walk to the beach, super close to international market and has all you need while in HI. Enjoy your stay, Mahalo!

    Best hotel in Waikiki if you can’t afford beachside!

    The old Holiday Inn has been transformed into a great place to stay - cost effective and bang in the middle of Waikiki. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful - we arrived early morning from NZ and were offered an early checkin for $75 which we jumped at. The rooms are modern and well equipped - double beds rather than Queen as at the Outrigger Reef but they are comfortable. The AC can be a bit noisy when trying to sleep but this would be my only criticism of the place (first world problem!) Join up to the Outrigger loyalty programme and you get 15% discount on food at the other two Outriggers in town and also on coffee downstairs at the Hawaiian Aroma Caffe - great strong coffee and good chilling music next to the pool. They have $10 beer and pizza happy hour as well which gets delivered poolside. The hotel is between the Duke markets and the International Mall with great p;laces to eat within easy walking distance and the direct link to the Maui Brewing Company at reception level.
