From the moment I arrived, the serene ambiance and the welcoming staff set the tone for a fantastic vacation. This resort is a gem in the Dominican Republic, offering a blend of luxury, relaxation, and impeccable service. The resort itself is a tropical paradise with beautiful beaches, pristine pools, and lush gardens. My room was spacious, well-appointed, and had a stunning view of the ocean. Every detail was meticulously attended to, ensuring my comfort and enjoyment throughout my stay. However, what made my experience truly special was the staff. Every member of the team, from the front desk to the housekeeping staff, greeted me with genuine warmth and a smile. They went out of their way to ensure I had everything I needed and more. It was evident that the staff at the Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana are dedicated professionals who take pride in their work. I want to take a moment to address a topic that often comes up when discussing all-inclusive resorts: tipping. While the resort is all-inclusive, it is important to remember that gratuity is not only appreciated but makes a significant impact on the lives of the hardworking staff. These individuals often travel long distances, sometimes up to two hours, to work at the resort. They work long hours to provide top-notch service and have learned English to better assist guests, which is no small feat. During my stay, I took the time to speak with several staff members about the tips they receive. Their responses were eye-opening. Despite their exceptional service, many guests do not tip, assuming that the all-inclusive fee covers everything. As someone who has worked in the service industry, I understand the value of a good tip. It’s a way to show appreciation and to recognize the hard work and dedication of these amazing individuals. A small tip can go a long way in supporting these workers and their families. Many of them rely on these tips to make ends meet and provide for their loved ones. By tipping, you are not only showing gratitude for excellent service but also making a meaningful contribution to the livelihoods of the staff. To my fellow travelers, I urge you to consider this during your stay. Firstly, a big thank you to Aida, whose welcoming smile greeted me upon arrival and set the tone for my entire stay. Her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. Anthony also deserves a special mention for his excellent professional attitude and welcoming smile. His dedication to providing top-notch service did not go unnoticed and greatly contributed to my positive experience. In the Diamond Club Lounge, Nicaury impressed me with her masterful cocktails and welcoming smile. Every drink she prepared was perfect, and her friendly service made my time in the lounge even more enjoyable. Juana was another standout, always acknowledging when I seemed a bit lost. Her attentiveness and willingness to help were greatly appreciated. At El Dorado restaurant, both Barón and Edwin provided outstanding service. Barón's attentiveness and friendly demeanor, along with Edwin's excellent service, made my dining experience truly memorable. Amarlys, the hostess at the breakfast buffet, greeted me each morning with a smile and ensured I started my day on a high note. Her cheerful attitude and efficiency were much appreciated. Noraya went above and beyond in helping me navigate the resort. Not only did she provide clear directions and valuable information, but she also took the time to walk me across the resort to ensure I found the restaurant. Her kindness and dedication were truly exceptional. Thank you to the entire team at Hideaway at Royalton Punta Cana for making my stay so wonderful. Your hard work and dedication are what make this resort truly special. I can't wait to return! Before you go to any resort Google "how much Dominican resort workers make per month."

    Perfect all inclusive vacay

    The resort is excellent. The diamond club upgrade with butler service is 12/10 worth the added expense. Food was amazing. Entertainment was fun and engaging. Manual attended to our every need. Gracie and Maria were the best beach cabana girls ever.

    10/10 Honeymoon!

    The Royalton Hideaway is a stunning all-inclusive resort! Manuel made our honeymoon even more memorable! He was able to help us with reservations each night to the restaurants, booked us a private dinner for our last night, and checked in with us each day to see if we needed anything. Perfect honeymoon and a perfect location!

    Fantastic couples trip

    I was dubious after reading previous reviews. My husband and I travelled from the UK for our 10th wedding anniversary. This place is amazing. The rooms do need updated which I know are getting done this year. We have no complaints at all. Staff at the hideaway were fantastic! Juan at the bar and Jean Paul and his team were great, really friendly and great service. The whole complex is gorgeous and spotless. We had no issues booking restaurants every day. We also loved the dorado as we didn’t need to book and the setting is gorgeous. The beach was stunning and not busy at all! All round it was a fantastic holiday and so glad I didn’t change hotels.

    Worst place - boring not fun and poor service

    This place is the worse experience I’ve had and I’ve been to many place . Check in was suppose to be at 3pm and did not give us the room until close to 5pm. When we got the room it was half way done, no towels , mini fridge dirty and empty when it should have complimentary drinks . I got my missing towels pretty quick but my drinks to the fridge were not delivered until a day later after my 8th request … Also, we reserved 2 rooms since we did a family vacation with our kids. They had promise us they’d put us next to each other since my kids are under age but this did not happen and put us on different floors. After complaining they did not care and brushed us off. Dinner you have to do through an app and do It 24 hrs in advance or you don’t eat dinner at their restaurants. I’m on vacation and the last thing I want to deal with is a computers, apps or complaints. It seems to me that they’re getting rid of staff to have everything done through apps. This is dumb because the less employees the less friendly the place will be. This hotel looks is so borring. Bar Pool shuts down at 6pm. The pool and beach shuts down at 7pm when the sun is still out. There’s no type of music playing it’s silent and not very happy live. I paid over 8k for the family (flight and hotel) . I had a felling I was over paying but here I thought that for the price it be worth it boy I was wrong . I can say the it’s not the staffs fault as they’re only doing with they are told . This is management and coordinators fault that don’t know how to run a business or make people feel welcome. This is my review and I realize everyone has different likes but if anyone were to ask me about his place I’d say . Save your money and go some where else . I’ve stayed at La Romana I can’t remember the resort but i think it was Bahia princess no that place is where it’s at…. La Romana is way funnier and happier with music, beach shows and the pools are awesome . If I can get my money back I’d take it and leave to La Romana …. But I still have 5 miserable days at this boring place …. This was my experience…… Again , I’ve been to Costa Rica, Puerto Rica , México, Italy, La romana Dominica republic and others … Punta Cana Dominica republic at hideaway Royalton hotel … the worst ……
