Good family trip!
Had a good relaxing trip. Edgar from entertainment was great. He always invited us to programs; beach volleyball, foam party, aqua aerobics, bingo and trivia just to name a few! The cabaret show at 10pm in the sky bar was great! We missed the fire show as we were in ala carte restaurant but i heard it was good. We hung out at adult pool mostly. Daniel the pool concierge was helpful with finding us chairs and umbrellas when needed. The kept pool clean, cleaner cleaned it every morning. I had no problem booking ala cart via app on phone at 8pm and i didnt wait 2 days i went to concierge and she helped me and even found us a cancellation for us that night. Buffet idk what people meant about out of food it was always full when we were there and i saw them refill. We ate breakfast around 8-830am and dinner around 7-730. The girl at the adult snack bar was always smiling and friendly when giving service. The waiter/bartenders. Pablo was my fave!!! Efren and Enrique always made she we were good with our drinks! All in all we had a nice time away which was our goal!!

Great food, overall great experience!
Karla and Damien were lovely, food was great and the drinks were delicious! The rooms were nicely cleaned and the entertainment was so much fun, I looked forward to it everyday! Definitely would recommend this resort! For sure coming back next year.

First Couple Vacation
The staff here was very accommodating! Kudos to Marco, Daniel, Edgar, Maria and Norma! It was my partner’s first trip to Mexico! He enjoyed it very much. We had a tropical view looking at the gardens and pools and a little view of the ocean. The food at the ala cartes were amazing! Big Portions. The buffet had lots of choices. We enjoyed visiting the turtles in the pond and looking for iguanas. See you again Krystal Grand Nuevo.

Reconsider choosing this “all inclusive”
They claim “a complete experience”, but it’s hardly a good experience. Upon arrival, you’ll have to wait two nights before you can even attempt to book a reservation at one of the three restaurants. And even then you won’t have any guarantee that you’ll get a reservation after that. The booking system opens at different times and available slots are taken quickly. Do not book a standard room. You’ll be disappointed. It’s tiny. No view. Of the 5 rooms in our group, not one had all the same amenities or equipment. Some were missing coffee pots. Some were missing towels. One had no shower door and one had a nonworking fridge. The buffet will run out of food, and will not be replaced. Don’t expect much. How it has so many positive reviews, I don’t understand. There is no premium liquor unless you’re an Altitude member. Pool side bar service is almost nonexistent. There are better options. Choose wisely.

Good week at the Krystal Grand!
This is a good hotel for the price point. We stayed in building 3 and the room was large and nice but a bit dated. We had a beautiful view from our balcony at night. When we checked in it wasn't overly clean (sand on the floor); and we had no towels. The refrigerator was also not working but we reported it, and it was replaced within 10 minutes. Towels were also sent up immediately. After the first day our housekeeping service was excellent. Hats off to Yanet! The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. The adults' only pool with the view of the ocean is beautiful. The pool/beach waiters are very attentive. It's the usual fight for loungers around the pool and on the beach. We noticed lots of loungers with towels that sat for hours unoccupied. Reservations in the a la carte restaurants are hard to book unless you pay for the Altitude upgrade or don't mind eating late - like 9:00 pm. The buffet is good but repetitive. The wait staff is excellent, I wish I took note of names, but Luis at the buffet stands out. The coffee shop is very busy in the mornings, with a 10–15-minute wait with only one server working. There is a OXXO and pharmacy out in front of the hotel which was convenient for snacks and sunscreen. It's a cheap Uber ride into Bucerius which was fun for a day trip and an evening to watch a hockey game. Overall, we had a great week with friends at the Krystal Grand.
