Amazing Hotel amazing views
I loved this hotel!! We stayed in a junior corner room suite it had amazing views!!! The beach is across the street and all day we saw surfers beautiful sunsets. It was amazing. The bed was comfy and the pillows amazing. Very clean. Great location. Went to Lulu's for breakfast and dinner that was incredible.

Diamond Head and Beach View
We were on the 30th floor, King room with a balcony with an unobstructed view of Diamond Head and Waikiki Beach / Ocean. Waking up and being able to sit out on the balcony with a cup of coffee to watch the sunrise was a highlight. We were able to walk to the beach and go swimming or stay at the hotel and go into the hot tub. The location was central so we were able to easily walk along the beach and to the International Market and other touristy stores. Enterprise car rental is in the hotel so we were able to get a car for a couple days to venture out further (Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Centre. We enjoyed our stay. The only downside is that the price was a little on the high side but the view was worth it. See attached photo.

Great location
Booked 6 nights at this hotel for spring break 2025. The room was nice and seemed fresh. The family pool was a little small and does not seem to be heated. Pool side day bed/cabana was nice so as the pool side service. The morning breakfast buffet lacked quality and selection. Kids price was also expensive. Location of the hotel is great! Walking distance to Waikiki beach, great restaurants for foodies, malls/shopping and bus stops. Would stay here again.

Awful hotel. Would never recommend.
I will start off by saying Wakiki/Honolulu is my least favorite place in Oahu, it is a big, dirty, noisy, busy city with a really ugly beach and all the good and bad things i associate with LA and West Hollywood. Sure there are fancy shops and great restaurants but it is horribly overpriced, parking is a nightmare and there are tourists everywhere!!! The Mariott banks on its location as the best thing about it and justifies its pricing on that aspect alone. The amenities are terrible, the beach that it is across from is equally terrible and overcrowded. There are no services on the beach for guests, your daily resort fee allows you to check out a beach chair, or a body board, heaven forbid not both, and they will fine you if you lose them or break them, which most of the chairs look and feel like they are about to break on you anyway. They offer the worst excuse for a yoga class in their "garden" which is the busiest breezeway between the hotel and main street with a bustling starbucks adjacent to you and the shopping on the main level is also equally overpriced and abysmal. The whole feel of the hotel is about making money from its guests and nothing is really geared toward improving your experience. Parking is insanely expensive and when we checked in they offered to switch our room which i thought was them doing us a kindness then saw my bill for an extra room upgrade, which i never asked for and were not transparent about, nor refunded when I complained.

The people who work here show the Hawaii spirit!!
The customer service is out of this world. From Joshua in concierge who helped plan a day trip with my disability in mind . He was so kind , the front desk was 10 out of 10 too. I cannot say enough about every employee who we encountered was so helpful. The location of the hotel is great.
