Great service horrible nachos
Our server Andrew was excellent. However our Nachos weren't. They were awful. We come to Waikiki every February and always look forward to Tropics nachos which we're the best, year after year. This year they changed their receipe and they were horrible. Chips with a watery lite cheese sauce with no flavor. I hope they change back to their old preparation because as silly as it sounds this was a huge disappointment.🫤 Do yourself a favor and don't order them

Terrible Experience and Rundown Complex
Absolutely terrible experience with multiple room moves due to dilapidated rooms. AC units are extremely loud and kept us up with very little sleeps. Rooms have mold in them and our feet stick to the carpets. This experience was so bad that we checked out early and spend $1500 to fly home early! The property is overpriced, overcrowded and long wait times for all restaurants. Tapa bar serves food that was overpriced, absolutely disgusting and portions that couldn’t feed a child. There is nothing authentic about this resort and found the Polynesian culture to be nonexistent! This place is a tourist trap. I’m sure I will see a generic response to this review about potential upcoming renovation or “this isn’t the services we want to deliver and to come back so we can improve”. Guest shouldn’t have to endure this type of costly experience for a resort to work on their service or facilities. I was sent a Hilton survey and expressed my dissatisfaction and no one reached out to discuss my stay. The leadership team should be ashamed of overcharging guests for such a rundown resort. I waited a long time and saved money to experience Hawaii and its culture and Hilton Hawaiian Village ruined this! I spent more money trying to get away from this hotel and that is a shame.

i would not come again
This stay at Hilton has reminded me why i have been avoiding Hilton hotels in last few years. When I arrived to hotel early morning, instead of earlier check in or short wait that i am accustomed in my travels, the receptionist told me that i should pay for extra night if i want an earlier check in. After multiple requests and reminders i waited 7h to finally check in, the room was very uninspiring for the price to say the least. The room had quite strong musty smell and the AC was loud with rattling noises. Luckily the weather allowed to switch the AC off and have the window opened at all times. The amenities were less than basic, with cheap quality coffee and no milk, no kettle. The walls are paper walls and i could hear people next door every word and all other noises. The bath is not draining and after showed you end up standing in dirty water which takes another 30min to drain. Restaurants around hotel were overpriced and low quality food. I stayed in other hotels in Honolulu which were way better than Hilton
