    Loved it

    Staff is amazing. Food is great at Naos. Had a great time. Gracias Eva, Angel and Neftali. Lots of wonderful shows every day for the kids. Not too crowded and the division between families and adults means that there is almost no smoking where there are children. Overall great.

    Great experience

    Great value for families my kids had a great time with the activities team and the water park. The food was good the service at the buffet especially breakfast was excellent. I tried all the a la carte restaurants on the family section and there were mostly good. Blue agave was just ok. Probably the Japanese restaurant with the show was the best, we used it twice my kids really enjoyed chef Antonio. I heard some people complain they did get to use the restaurants just make sure you book all of them as soon as you arrive.

    Getaway with family and friends

    Walkable hotel right on a beautiful beach, friendly staff, koi fish swimming throughout main areas. I enjoyed dinners at the restaurants. The gym was excellent and it was open 24h. I liked the decor a lot. Everything was close, 2-5 minute walk to all the amenities. The waterpark was great. I want to mention Lorenzo, a bartender at the beach bar! Great guy! So was his associate Elizabeth. Lorenzo introduced me to Mezcal, explained how it was made. The drinks he made were excellent. He made the whole experience of spending time at the beach with friends truly enjoyable!

    So not stay here

    If I could give negative stars I would. The only place readily available to eat is the buffet. It’s garbage. You have to make reservations to eat at other restaurants on site, and those are heavily booked. I’ve been here for two nights, and still haven’t been able to eat anywhere but the f-ing buffet. If you like food warmed in a tray, that is is overcooked and under seasoned, come stay at paradisus.

    Playa del Carmen Family Vacation

    Surprised by the size of the complex ...it was huge. The food, service, attentiveness of the staff was excellent. The restaurant reservation system was well organized and allowed for all guests to experience their preferred choices, sometimes multiple times. It was 500 steps one way from our room to the main lobby/bar/restaurant area. I would pay close attention to the map of the complex when selecting rooms. My wife has a bad knee, so we rented a wheelchair from a third party for the stay to use sparingly throughout the trip.
