Nov 29, 2024Don't waste your money
Do not recommend. Absolutely not worth the money, this is not a 5 star hotel. We came here to get married and have a honeymoon, so not really feeling it. Let's break it down: Rooms: we stayed in one of the upgraded suits as a star class status. Water from the shower and sink comes YELLOW. Room is big and looks nice, but everything is falling apart. Wardrobe is not closing, chest of drawers is broken. Food: if you are not coming to eat straight when the buffet is open, then be ready to wait. We waited 30 minutes to get in to the buffet today, and spend another 30 minutes to stand in the queue to get any king of food. The buffet is too small for the size of the hotel and there is not enough staff to prepare the tables in time. Food choices are not great either, overcooked with no flavor. Bars: you get a sports bar that is meant to work till 2am for drinks and food, but closes their kitchen whenever they feel like it, some pool bars, premium bar and the main twist bar which is located by the main theatre. If you are drinking anything apart from wine and beer, make sure you get your drinks in the morning, because every bar runs out of alcohol by about mid day and they never restock. Pools: there is kids pool, adult pool, star class poor and main pool. It's like Turkey, be there at 8am or no sun bed for you. You would expect more from a 5 star hotel that is only open a few years. Plus, you have to pay extra for everything. Wanna use the surfing place? Pay. Cabanas? Pay. Shisha? Pay. Literally anything apart from food and pools, you pay, even with star class upgrade. In general, this is not a 5 star hotel, I definitely would not recommend to anyone, especially for honeymoon. The facilities are way too small for the size of the resort. You get much better value for money in one of the Bahia places. The only great thing here is the actual staff. Everyone is very friendly, especially our 2 person assistants Miguel and Jorge, those guys always tried to went above and beyond to make sure we get a great stay.

Nov 28, 2024Planet Hollywood Cancun - Adult scene and Pumped gym!
This was an awesome experience. The staff is courteous and friendly, the selection of food and restaurants was good. The entertainment was really good. Found myself getting into a healthy routine, the highlight of my trip was working out daily with my husband (never imagined this would be us, working out on a vacation). Getting up in the morning and starting our day off with yoga and a workout was sheer perfection, thanks to Benn and his team for making this happen. Only drawback for is was the adult scene was limited and still had to interact with so much children, we were looking for more quiet and relaxed. Overall great time, would recommend!!😃

Spent the night in the scene bar. Met Sharem and Moses. Both were super engaging and my husband and I commented how nice it was to have a personal conversation with the staff. It really made our night. Today has been a really great day and ended perfectly.

My 50th
Overall we had a very nice relaxing getaway for my 50th birthday. The beach and scenery was great the staff was amazing everyone always smiling and greeting you everywhere you went. Our only complaint would be the food during our stay but as they are serving a couple thousand people a day it can be expected. Our butlers checked on us daily and gave us daily activities list which helped

Spanish lessons
Family pool and Spanish lesson with Alejandra was super fun for my daughter and I. We are looking forward to the Spanish word competition. Alejandra was super friendly and fun. My daughter and I loved it and were surprised how much we knew. Alrjandra was a star
