Roberto the bartender at the Ginger Bar is the best bartender I’ve ever had! He had the best drink recommendations and they were all consistently delicious! He was one of the best parts of our whole entire trip! We had a reserve booking but am chose the Ginger Bar strictly to get our drinks from Roberto! We he food at Tokimeku was beyond delicious as well!

Amazing customer service
I stayed at the resort for my birthday, the place is beautiful but the staff are what shine the most. Juan Carlos my concierge was constantly available!! Would check in regularly and it seems like all the staff knew what was going on with our day plans and what we needed. Special mention also goes to Ivan Martinez who was quick to help with any and everything. This combination really made my trip extra special. Not to mention my Vinyasa yoga instructor who acknowledged my birthday during the class which was so nice. I ended up with two beds in my room instead of one and my view wasn’t the best but truly speaking the customer service made up for the room situation. The two beds were tiny too.

Jan 24, 2025Paradisis Reserve BIG disappointment
This is the 2nd time I stayed at the Paradisus Reserve Resort. It was a disappointment and I will be trying Grand Vela next trip. The accommodations were not as stated. The classes they offered only allow for 12 people and fill up very fast. The pool no longer has the waterfall, the music was very old. The cabana reserve was the only thing we had but did not justify the cost. I also signed up for an excursion to do ATV/horseback riding with Pacific Tours, be cautious. Christian the representative there lied and said it was 50min to get to the location for activities. This is false. It’s over 1.5hrs to get to the 1st site. We did not let them transport to a further destination as there were communication barriers and was not what was discussed. It was not safe and we left. Manuel, the manager stated for all of the inconveniences we had they were giving us a 2 night voucher which also was not given. It appeared to be done just to appease us. Stay elsewhere. Paradisus is not the all inclusive luxurious resort they claim to be.

Highly Recommend (Wedding 2025)
We came here for our wedding and we have never been so well treated in our lives. We are not the wealthiest people so we didn't come down ahead of time and check it out - we crossed our fingers and hoped for the best. I cannot thank the staff enough for how well they took care of us. Absolutely everyone - our wedding coordinator, the main events coordinator, the restaurant staff is amazing, and housekeeping is wonderful. Also the food is fantastic, the vibe is very relaxed and you can enjoy yourself and not feel crowded, the beach is cold but you can get in, AND we saw whales every afternoon in the distance (even one breach)

Amazing experience
We had a great time with the two other couples we came with. Every worker we met were extremely friendly and helpful. A few people that stood out to us was Ivan (concierge), Sophia (cook at the beach), Servando (security guard at beach), Alejandro (server by pool), and Jorge (bartender).
