Worse resort ever!
When I first checked into my room there was banging on the ceiling. I was on the top floor so it was coming from the roof. So loud I couldn't talk on the phone. Shower head was broke and was spraying water everywhere! Phones didn't work to call the front had to go to the desk they did not come the same day. I had to rise in the sink. The following 2 days had debris falling from the ceiling onto the table went landed in my food. Every morning staff was very loud everything echos so don't plan to sleep after 8am it will not happen. Staff was also working on other rooms daily and had a plaster chemical smell was very nauseating. I cut my trip short! I will never recommend this location!

Great stay
We had such a great time at the Krystal Grand - Hacienda. The rooms are comfortable and quiet. Food at the buffet was always good. Service was excellent, especially Adrian, who kept our drinks topped up, and knew what we wanted. Thank you, we'll be back!

Very disappointing!
This was one of the worst resorts we have been to except for the pool and the bar service. Our first room overlooked construction then we had to wait 3 days for another room which had bugs. Yes I said bugs. Went to the concierge in the morning with a picture of the bugs and they upgraded us to a suite so we could finally unpack. Thank you Melanie and Hector. Rooms are not the cleanest… smelly and the fan had a build up of grime on it. Housekeeping was hit and miss… had to keep asking for towels cause they would forget to leave any. Also there was always a shortage of pool towels. We had to be at the pool by 5 am to get loungers and we stayed with ours unlike others who put their towels on loungers then disappeared. By the end of our 2 weeks the loungers had dwindled to about 50%…where the others went we have no idea. Also learned that the resort rents out loungers to the cruise ship people while the hotel guests go without. What’s that all about!!! Pool and bar service was excellent thanks to Guillermo and Manuel!, Buffet food was ok and restaurants were terrible. What Mexican resort doesn’t serve guacamole and salsa with taco chips!!!!! Don’t think we ever had a hot meal delivered to our table at any of the restaurants. First time ever we’ve been to a resort that never had change at the front desk when you needed smaller bills. This is one resort we would not recommend to anyone and will definitely not go back to.

Location, whales, weather, beach and resort make up best part of this Resort.
Room- Ocean front suite, room 201. Very spacious room and balcony, with balcony jacuzzi. Spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. Cleaning of room, subpar at best. Stained linens when we first arrived, we had to ask them to be changed. Had to request daily for new towels, and explain we are a family of 4 who each need a towel. Noise level was fairly loud as the room overlooks the pool, which a lot of the night shows are at the pool. So that would be quite loud until about 930-10 at night. Which with a toddler and young kids is challenging. The food- we went to Italian, French and Mexican a la cartes. Booking was fairly simple online at 10:00 am same day. The later seatings would book up quickly. The quality of the food at the A la carte was “ok”, I’ve been to resorts in Mexico a dozen or more times and in comparison the food at the a la cartes here was nothing special in my opinion. The buffet days 1-2 were satisfactory. After that, seeing the same options everyday got a bit tiring. You could always find options to eat, but more variety would have been nice. Service- Poolside, some of the best poolside service ive ever experienced. Daniel in particular served our family of 6 with a smile and efficiency. Buffet service and bar service were also great! Pool- warm !!!!! Amazing with kids. They need to police those who leave their towels to claim their chair at 5 am, then don’t come back until 11. Beach- nice long stretch. Lots of locals selling their stuff. Entertainment- nice live music in the lobby in the evenings. Kids club seemed underwhelming.

Great relaxation destination!
The Hacienda at Krystal Grand is a great destination if you are looking to relax. We stayed in a pool room, so we had our own private pool and lounge area. The water was so warm we could enjoy a coffee in the water on morning. There were so many lovely staff, I really wish I could remember their names. The gentleman who checked us in was so helpful and started our stay off on the right foot. The staff at the buffets were so friendly and attentive, and thank you to those at the La Talavara who got us our ice-cream everyday at lunch. The lovely woman who made us coffee every morning was so sweet. Our housekeeping and bar cart staff were lovely, and took good care of our room. and Alejandro who helped us on our last day was incredibly courteous. Thank you to everyone who made our stay special! My only complaint is the a la carte restaurants were disappointing as the food was not very good. However, the food at the buffets were nice, they had a nice variety. I love that you have access to both sides of the property. Overall, I highly reccommend the Hacienda at Krystal Grand.
