  We attended a wedding for a friend at this hotel. When you first arrive you are met with a “welcome drink” (non alcoholic) and brought to the check in desk where a representative goes over the amenities, your room information, and tours you around the facility. There is an “adults only” and “family only” side. Each has their own different colored wristband. 2 couples in the group (we booked with a travel agency) had the “family only” wrist bands. We later found out if you were seen on the “adult only” with this wristband, you may be charged up to “$2,000” USD fee, so keep that in mind. When we arrived at our room, the inside was beautiful! We had a jacuzzi, a soak tub, living room area. You were also given a "welcome bottle” of alcohol and also mini bottles of alcohol (these will not be restocked) and also a fridge which will be restocked daily (it’s an all inclusive so thats okay to not be restocked!). Some cons: The jacuzzi did not work, the front office had to send maintenance out to fix it. The phone in the room constantly didn’t work so we had to either go down to the main lobby to talk to someone or message our “buttler” (was only available during the hours of 12-8 pm). The ice bucket in the room had a foul odor, when asked for replacement/clean, they just put a plastic bag in it. The ice machine near the room did not work, when we let the office know, it was never fixed. The stand alone bars/swim up bars were not too busy when we went, yet when we would be given glasses/shot glasses, they would have people’s lipstick/dirty cups…GROSS! Especially for a “higher end” resort. Management must have seen a lot of the honest reviews were complaining that staff would come up to guests to ask for reviews. We had this occur only once. A staff member approached our group asking us to scan a barcode and write a review to include her name. She then asked to READ the review prior to posting it and added other individuals names (Daniella). Service is SLOW. You will ask multiple times for water, or other items. You can tell the room needs some maintenance assistance there is bending of window poles, cracks in the walls… Pros: Our butler Stelian was WONDERFUL! He was checking in with us to see if he could provide any services, he was only available from from 12pm-8pm. Entertainment provided by the resort was fun, staff was always lively. The seafood restaurant by the beach had FABULOUS views! The food was okay, nothing to get too excited about. But this is kind of to be expected when you're cranking out large volumes of food. The resort is super close to the beach, easy access, wasn’t overcrowded. Overall, it wasn’t a TERRIBLE experience, or a great one. This was okay. I’ve only been to one other all inclusive and this experience was better than the other one, but the only “WOW” factor was the room, until things didn’t work. Other weddings were going on with receptions, and the reception area's music would stop at 11:00pm, don't know if this may affect others. We weren't bothered by it sine we were up past this time.

  Fantastic service and staff!

  Farid, Alyson, paola, Silvia, Dominick and Daniela was the best entertainers! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to vacation!

  Great holiday all round

  Brilliant holiday- great food and drinks Frida and Dominick from the entertainment team were welcoming - the whole entertainment were great! Good food, good drinks, sun, sand and very relaxing!! Would definitely come again!

  Such great entertainment!!

  Alyson and farid were amazing entertainers!! We even got to have our own personal uno games in the pool!! The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing. The staff is so great, every one of them. But, Alyson and Farid were amazing!! They even took the time to play uno with us in the pool!!

  Great place to visit!

  Pros and Cons The rooms have modern amenities (usb and light switches beside bed, beautiful tub, private internal pass through for dirty dishes), however, the furniture and walls are beat up, anything made of metal (sinks, shower, jacuzzi) are all corroded. I did not feel comfortable getting in the outdoor jacuzzi. We loved the adult only section. The gave us a complimentary beach bag upon arrival. Never had a problem finding chairs even with 100% occupancy. The landscaping in the garden areas is beautiful, we enjoyed our evening walks. The balcony off our room, even though it is facing the exterior perimeter jungle of the property, was really nice to sit. Protected from the elements (wind and rain). The food has been fantastic. The seafood and steak restaurants were our favorites. The buffet is equally as good. Kabuki for Teppanyaki was so fun and delicious. Plenty of cabanas (at no additional cost or reservation) by the pool. Cabanas and loungers by the ocean. We especially loved the boardwalk down to the beach! And plenty of bars and wait staff. The hamburger/hotdog stand between the pools and beach was an excellent choice for lunch by the water. Concierges, Michelle and Raul were wonderful. Checked in with us each day to see if we needed anything and sent us the daily schedule. Complimentary bottle of anything we wanted upon arrival (I got Baileys for coffee every morning). Also, champagne, rum, tequila and beer complimentary in room. Celebrated our anniversary with balloons and swan towels on the bed, and farewell chocolates in our room the evening before we left. We didn’t have the best weather 😢 We spent 3 out of 7 days by the water. Not much to do if it is too windy/rainy. A movie in the indoor/outdoor theater would have been fun. The staff have all been very friendly and welcoming, absolutely no complaints about them. Aide, a server in the Flavors buffet, always was welcoming and had a big smile on her face. And the crepe lady (I didn’t catch her name) made the best crepe for me each and every time!! The evening shows have been fun, we especially enjoyed the Michael Jackson Tribute. The lighting and sound though are awful. Could definitely use a better spotlight and turn the sound down about 20 decibels. Pools are not heated 😬 SO cold we could not get in (but then again, I am a wimp and HATE cold water). The ocean was warmer, but full of seaweed and the waves were crashing pretty good. Do not like the lock system on the door. It’s just a touch system and hard to tell between lock and unlock, and what your actually status is when you leave the room (which could mean no housekeeping). Overall, a relaxing week! We enjoyed ourselves!
