We had a wonderful time a secrets playa Blanca costa Majeres. The hotel was very new and fresh. The service was impeccable. Food overall was good, but not really “fine dining”. But good, safe, very clean food. The room service was excellent and we used it a lot for breakfast. The could use boxed lunches for outside resort excursions. We played golf and took room service sandwiches with us. But, it was kind of pain. The were some very cool shows especially the indigenous Maya dances. We were there a for a wedding and it was a wonderful time. The pools were very fun. Overall, it was quiet except during party hours when the bars could be a bit raucous. But the resort, was very quiet at night. Great sleeping. We were never disturbed by noise at night by revelers. We had an upgraded room with the preferred club. While the difference in food and drink was modest, the room itself was great with outside balcony and tub that we loved. The room itself was well appointed, and lacked nothing. The biggest disappointment for us was the wine menus. Imports were ridiculously expensive, and the Mexican was…well, Mexican wine. We like a good bottle with a good meal and stopped trying. This did not ruin our time, but was kind of silly…next time we bring our own from airport duty free! Overall, we had a wonderful time at secrets playa Blanca costa Mujeres. The service was five star and the staff amazingly helpful and friendly. We’ll go back!

Beautiful resort, fantastic vacation
My husband and I went for 11 nights end of November into early December. We had the best time! It was our 3rd Secrets trip and 1st time at this one. The staff were fantastic, as were the restaurants and bars. We loved the 4 different pools, particularly the jungle and preferred pools although we spent most days at the beach. Swimming at and walking along the beach were great, and service at both the pools and beach was very attentive. We loved watching the pelicans and hummingbirds.

Tuthill wedding review
We had the most amazing time at secrets Playa Blanca as we hosted our wedding there in December. We brought 75 guests total, and each one couldn’t rave more about this being their favorite All-Inclusive resort they have ever been to. Standouts include the scenery, the pools, activities and amenities. Above all that, the staff here is exceptional. We had truly delightful individuals working with us including our room concierge, Benji. He had a bright smile and helping hand when we stepped out of our room. Our room service attendee, Ezekiel, who was so kind and lovely! Santiago at the middle pool, and Elizabeth! We loved our wedding coordinator, Fernanda who kept everything running smoothly the whole trip. The photography team was so incredible to work with as well and made it all so fun and seamless. Thank you all for creating such a memorable and easy going experience for us!!!

Amazing service, property design, entertainment, and overall experience
My wife and I absolutely loved this resort, we will definitely return. It's really impossible for me to do it justice in a reasonable amount of words, but here are a few impressions: Service: We were in building 1 with an oceanfront room, and our butlers Eddy & Rafa were amazing. I have had lots of 'butler' experiences, but at this hotel they sit in an open-air office on the first floor. This is a stroke of genius. Most times you enter and leave your building, you see them and chat briefly. This fostered a really warm, welcoming, friendly vibe. I am an introvert, and even I enjoyed it. At one point we were sitting at a bar just before dinner, and Eddy walked by while giving a tour to another couple. I waved to him, and he waved and called out "I'll go ahead and have them start your turn down service." The service everywhere was delightful. Design: I am not normally obsessed with design, but this resort has so many really special finishes everywhere. I added pictures of a few. Near the spa there are stones set on their edges and half-exposed in the floor, in a beautiful pattern. Just outside the gym, there are these split tree trunk decorations that my pictures don't do justice to. Everywhere in the resort there is the recurring theme of decorations made of rope, but each one is bespoke to its location. The lighting at night throughout the resort is amazing. The entry hall viewed from below at night is really beautiful. There are scents piped in in the checkin area and the spa waiting room. I really haven't done any of this justice, you have to see it in person. Its little details everywhere that are more than the sum of their parts. Room: We had an ocean front room on the second floor and it was amazing. It had a great view. The attention to design detail is again everywhere in the room. It was just a wonderful place to be. Beach: Cancun gets a bad rap for seaweed, but while we were there it was a non-issue. We enjoyed hanging out in the ocean, and taking long walks along the beach. Entertainment: They had two live bands while we were there (The Golden Rocket Band, and a cuban band), and I tremendously enjoyed both. They seem to have a pattern where the band plays at night, but then also plays in the afternoon the next day in the preferred area, so you can catch it there if you miss it. On Sunday night the staff set up this amazing buffet dinner/stage on the beach, where they had a charming Mexican dancing show. I initially thought they were setting up a wedding. It was all so elaborate. I really can't believe they do that regularly. Apparently in more rainy seasons they do the same thing indoors. I could go on, but you get the idea. The resort is not quite two years old. If you are considering adults only all-inclusives in Cancun in this price range, I would just choose this one. You won't regret it.

Gorgeous Adults Only All Inclusive!
We had such a wonderful experience at Secrets Playa Blanca! The resort is absolutely gorgeous, from the rooms to the bars and restaurants, to the pool area. It opened in 2023, so everything is new and in good shape. We were in a preferred room and our butlers Eddy and Rafa were so friendly and ready to help with anything. The preferred rooms include the hydrotherapy experience, which was really fun and nice (and a little silly, but in a great way). Luisa and Michelle were our guides for that and they were great. Staff was all extremely friendly, helpful and available, and when we were there, nothing was crowded (pools, restaurants, beach). The good was good but not great, and a bit hit or miss. The baked goods and desserts were a bit disappointing, but we enjoyed some delicious items as well. It was a great opportunity to escape the kids for a couple of days and enjoy some time as a couple!
