Jan 22, 2026The Nest – Where Comfort Meets Refined Service
A Family Selection–exclusive restaurant with outstanding service and incredibly friendly, attentive staff. The music is lovely, and the dining area feels modern, elegant, and very cozy. Breakfast here is hands down the best in the entire hotel. There’s also a kids’ playroom, which is a great plus for families. The bar deserves a mention too — excellent service and great cocktails.

Wedding Trip with friends
I travelled here for a wedding with friends and had a great time. The service was great the food was good, we spent lots of time at the pool and the beach. I did have an incident where a driver on a cart went to fast and I feel out but the resort did everything to support my recovery. I would definitely recommend a stay at palladium.

Our experience at Family Selection Grand Palladium Bávaro was highly unsatisfactory and did not align with the standards normally associated with a five-star, premium resort. We selected the Family Selection category expecting higher-quality service, better coordination, and dedicated guest support. Instead, we encountered persistent communication problems, with many staff members unable to assist effectively in English. Requests were frequently ignored or left unresolved, and the designated butler service provided little to no support. Several services promoted as part of the Family Selection offering—such as luggage delivery and child-focused amenities—were never provided despite repeated follow-ups. Throughout the stay, we repeatedly contacted reception to report issues related to the room, service responsiveness, and housekeeping. Most concerns were either addressed very late or not resolved at all, creating ongoing frustration. Dining, especially breakfast, was another weak point. The quality and preparation of basic items such as eggs, pancakes, and other standard breakfast foods were inconsistent and well below what one would reasonably expect from a resort in this category. One of the most serious problems involved our original ground-floor room in the Family Selection area, which experienced repeated water issues. These incidents were accompanied by unpleasant odors and long delays before maintenance arrived. After several attempts to escalate the matter, my wife became visibly upset at reception before we were finally relocated to a second-floor room to avoid further flooding. Unfortunately, following the room change, housekeeping support ceased entirely. Despite multiple requests, the room was not serviced and towels were not replaced, leaving us without cleaning for the final two days of our stay prior to departure. We also observed instances of staff behavior that felt inappropriate and unprofessional, particularly toward female guests, which was unsettling in what is marketed as a family-friendly environment. Overall, the property appeared to suffer from poor training, lack of coordination, and weak management oversight across several departments, including front desk, housekeeping, food service, and guest relations. This was especially disappointing when compared to our previous experience at Family Selection Cancun, which was far more organized and professionally operated. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this resort to families looking for a reliable, high-end vacation. The Family Selection label at this location does not reflect the level of service actually delivered.
