Definitely recommend staff extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms were large, bedding and pillows were comfy and the shower was great with lots of hot water and good water pressure.

Quality of food was below our standard. Italian would be the only one that was okay. Lack of other types of restaurants on site. Went off site to get better food. Drinks were not premium as advertised. Poor evening shows in theatre. Same entertainers each night, just a different theme. Overall the resort is very nice, well maintained and clean. Staff try to be very accommodating but there are very few amenities in this resort Cater to more of the local nationals. All of the international crowd we met were of the same opinion on the quality of food.

We have returned to this resort many times because we love everything about it. Great staff with friendly service. Beautiful location with beach that is excellent for swimming or just going for a walk. Clean well equipped rooms. Pickle ball/tennis courts shaded. Lots of other activities available. Good value!

Lovely hotel - definitely recommend
This was our first time staying at a Barcelo, and first time in Huatulco. We upgraded our room to Premium Level as we wanted a view of the ocean. The room was very spacious, with lots of storage space! The bed was very comfortable! The bathroom was a good size. There is coffee in the room and a small fridge that was stocked with beverages and snacks. There is a small safe in the room (too small for laptop or iPad). Our room also had robes and slippers. The pool temperatures were lovely, as was the ocean! The beach is quiet, sandy, beautiful. We ate at the Mexican restaurant once and the Italian twice - both were fabulous. We were lucky enough to have Victor as our server at both - he was great! Omar at the main buffet was also wonderful. We were also very impressed with the quality and freshness of the food at the buffets; there were lots of options (and vegetarian options) - absolutely no complaints regarding the food. Every night there was a show at their theatre and often some live music in the lobby bar area before the nightly show. I would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Great service.
Omar was a great server in the restraunts. Very friendly and accommodating. The food manager visits all restraunts all day to make sure things are going well. The Italian restaurant was the coziest atmoshere and good quality food. The main buffet has different theme nights each night. Tips are appreciated.
