Fantastic experience from start to finish. Diana at the Guest Services was absolutely fantastic. The food, the room and the service from a range of waiters was fantastic. Housekeeping was excellent as well.

Beautiful place with beautiful people
We had the most amazing time at Planet Hollywood as a family of five. We stayed in block 21 which had the most beautiful views. Star class is definitely a best choice. We had the most lovely Butlers Chris and Fanny who arranged all our reservations for the restaurants and nothing was too much trouble. They both went above and beyond to ensure anything we needed was catered for including trips and Cabanas. Both so lovely on hand every day we were very thankful. The housekeeping also do a great job cleaning the rooms daily. The grounds are beautiful we had a couples massage on the beach with Terry who was fantastic. The staff at the star class pool are amazing too Julia is lovely & Moses and Alehandra were also amazing. The people are so friendly our two 16 year old boys loved meeting new friends and my 20 year old daughter loved it too. Cancun is beautiful we also took the dolphin trip to Delphinus which was also a fantastic day. The beach is stunning and they work hard removing the sea weed every morning at 7am. It really is a lovely place our family had the best time!

Jerry our Butler
I can not possibly explain how amazing our Butler Jerry was. He made our whole trip the most enjoyable and memorable place I have ever been to. He customized everything from the beginning.. He even went down to the pool and got us 3 chairs and made sure there was towels on them for us personally. He would contact us all the time to make sure that we were happy. I was in a situation when I flew down to the resort that my earphones broke. I asked him when he was off duty and out and about at the store that if I gave him money would he please pick up a pair of earphones for me. He had them waiting for me the day I was to fly home. He did not need to do that but he did completely go out of his way on his personal time to do this for me. I truly felt at home having him be our Butler. I asked for a dehumidifier it was in our room immediately. I am diabetic along with my friend who went on the trip with me, we found it difficult to find diabetic options for us and Jerry made a point to contact the restaurants to make sure I had something to drink and eat. I cannot Rave enough about his service and his hospitality. This man is outstanding, I have told every single friend that I have about how wonderful our trip was due to Jerry. The food was amazing, the bartenders/waitstaff were fabulous and the people were so kind but he was over the top wonderful. Jerry is a 100% asset to your facility and if you ever lost him it would be a grave disservice to planet Hollywood Cancun.

OKKKUURRRRR!!! PH CANCUN
THONLY was theeee absolute best at the guest services desk. He helped us make dinner reservations for the entire week for a family of 7!! He is my brother from another mother!! 🩷He made us comfortable and ready to enjoy our beautiful family vacation at PH Cancun!! After meeting with him things were off to the right start!! PH CANCUN IS BEAUTIFUL!! We came with teenagers and they have been entertained everyday so far! Looking forward to hibachi & the steak restaurant!! The DJ at the night club was excellent played a little bit of reggaeton, hip hop, billboard top 100 vibes were everything!! The alcohol is decent, we have not gotten sick. THE STAFF ARE FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL & VERY KIND AND OVERALL THR EXPERIENCE IS GREAT!!! ! Rooms are clean and NO BUGS IN SIGHT!! GET A BUTLER AND GET YOUR RESEVATIONS EARLY!!

Jul 15, 2025Sickness is a real thing here...
Myself and my partner stayed at this resort from June 24-July 3, Adult Scene, non Star Class. The resort property itself is nice - the grounds are well kept. There is some wear and tear for the young age of the resort however this appears to be due to how some guests treat the resort (lack of respect). We stayed on the Adult Scene side. We didn't have issues getting loungers as we've seen in some others post about here and in some Facebooks groups. We did have to get up early to ensure we got loungers but we are early birds so that didn't bother us that much. Staff were great and accommodating. We didn't have any trouble getting bottled water. The restaurants were also easy to get a reservation to and our opinion was that the food was decent. This view changed on June 30th. I became very ill and remained feeling ill until we departed on July 3rd. My partner also fell ill when we returned home on the 3rd. It is now July 15th and we are both still ill. July 14th my doctor sent me to get testing done and I tested positive for Cyclospora parasite and have been prescribed antibiotics and he is also receiving antibiotic treatment for the same parasite. We used bottled water to brush our teeth. We aren't big drinkers so we didn't consume a lot of alcohol. Prior to traveling I saw quite a number of reviews via TripAdvisor and Facebook describing this same issue. We almost cancelled but thought maybe the issue wasn't as bad as it appeared. It definitely is and continues to be an issue. There are still people reporting getting sick. Getting sick caused us to lose 4 days at the end of our vacation because I couldn't get out of bed and has caused issues since being home because we are both still ill. The cleaniness and food preparation clearly needs to be revisited at this resort! As mentioned, prior to going we saw many posts stating the same things regarding illnesses and the general cleanliness. While the resort is beautiful and for the most part appeared clean there were definitely improvements that could be made. (food, pool cleanliness). But most importantly, whatever needs to be done so people aren't getting sick needs immediate improvement. We would not return to this resort.
