General Policies & Fine Print
Check-in Policy - Hotel requires a credit/debit card authorization or cash deposit upon check-in for incidentals; this will place a hold on your funds.
Convention Policy - Individuals attending a convention cannot book this property for their stay. If found attending a convention, guests may be subject to higher room rates upon arrival.
Transfer Policy - A price may display when children stay free, if your vacation includes transfer to your hotel.
General Information - Room taxes and service fees are included in vacation price. Minimum night stay restrictions may apply. Reservation changes may not be permitted unless authorized by the hotel.
Spring Break Policy - Bookings in the months of March and April will be subject to the following conditions:
- The minimum age requirement for check-in is 18. One parent or chaperone at least 25 years of age will be required per room for check-in.
- Students/youth between 16 and 23 years of age. Adults accompanying are responsible for the students’ behaviour. of the remaining nights.
- In the event that any guests engage in inappropriate behaviour or cause physical damages to the facilities, the Hotel Management reserves the right to expel the said guest without reimbursement or refund of the remaining nights.

In Noveber 2024 our repeated holiday in JOIA Bávaro by Iberostar. The main reason for our repeated holiday are several: nice Long beach, clean ocean, perfect staff in all levels. Hotel permanently getting better and better and provide the best services. '

Hotel was amazing, staff was perfect, food was so-so. returned home on a Saturday evening 11/9, Monday morning was extremely sick - vomiting, diarrhea, aches,very weak, very very sick! Went to urgicare/doctor had bloodwork done, covid test, flu test, sars, etc everything normal there; concluded severe bacterial infection - as to today, 11/21, still not feeling 100%. Unfortunately I will never be going back. I gave this a rating of 1 as my health is more important than the view.

Excellente!!
Excellent vacation location and great service! Julio and Armando were the best! They were excellent hosts and catered to our every need! They were at our beckoning call and every service needed was provided, with no stone left unturned! I would recommend this hotel and location to anyone!!

Sistet’s 60th Birthday Celebration
Definitely a 5 vacation! The resort is beautiful but the best part is the staff. From the moment we arrived everyone was so kind and attentive. Our butlers Armando and Julio were wonderful so attentive and helpful! Always available to assist us. Our maid Jennifer did a great job and made such cute towel animals. Out wait staff Juan, Yaryi, Ortiz were wonderful and after a day or two anticipated our needs. They always welcomed us with huge smiles. Elizabeth our lobby bar waitress was amazing. We visited each restaurant and have no complaints! The staff who cared for us on the beach was excellent. Overall it was excellent! We will definitely be back!

My wife and I came down for her 60th birthday party for 60th birthday with great friends Joe and Karen. We had a fantastic time. The staff was wonderful especially Julio and Armando and our housekeeper. Jennifer was also very good. We plan on returning as soon as we possibly can because we were able to also join the club and we love it, thank you for all the great times
