We just returned from an 8 night stay at The Royal Lahaina in the Bungalow junior 2 bedroom room. There isn't anything I'd change about the resort. It truly was the best beach vacation we've ever had and we have been all over the world. The whale watching was the best at the Kaanapali Beach along with Monk Seals and snorkeling. The staff were all very polite and helpful. The bar made the best pina colada ever. All the food was delicious - breakfast, lunch, and Dinner - including a fantastic Luau. If you are looking for a true Hawaiian Experience, the book a bungalow at The Royal Lahaina.

Great stay
The best beach that we found around the island. I also enjoyed the pools since swimming in the ocean gets a little rough. The Myths of Maui luau, which was on site, was expensive but really nice. They don’t push you for tipping like other luau’s. We stayed in the tower and it was closer to the pools and beach.

Perfect
Great location, beach is beautiful. Amazing place to snorkel, plenty of sea life including turtles and seals. Within walking distance of restaurants and beach bars. Very friendly, helpful, prompt staff that all were smiling always. The hotel is a little dated but kept up superbly.

Beautiful spot in Maui
Beautiful spot in Kaanapali. Our family of five had an amazing time. The 2 bedroom bungalow was perfect for us and although not specified as and ADA room, worked well for me as a manual wheelchair user. The room was clean, grounds were well kept and there were always loungers available.

The place to stay in Maui!
This is the place to stay if you ever go to Maui! Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows has the best staff who provide the friendliest service ever! Big shout out to Nick, Chache (Bartender), Gina, Stacy & Ares! But everyone there was just so welcoming and really felt the aloha! The food and drinks were amazing & our bungalow was beautiful! Love how convenient this resort is to many places in Lahaina. Definitely the best place to stay in Maui! They made our trip so memorable, our first time!
