The Kanapali beach in front of the resort is absolutely amazing! If you like snorkeling I definitely recommend, we had the chance to see not only colorful Hawaiian fishes as well as turtles and on the last day we had a couple of whitespotted eagle rays passing by! The beach was calm comparing to other resort beaches that were overcrowded. We stayed in a side ocean view room where we were able to enjoy the sunset perfectly. The facilities are updated, we tried the fitness center and the pool side chairs. The hotel organises one of the best Luau experience, a must!

We recently stayed at the resort and the location is great, but the customer service and hospitality is below average. Front office staff have attitude. Your room gets serviced every 2 days and that’s if house keeping remember to do it. The only staff that were friendly were the bell boys and some of the breakfast staff. I think there was a local living in the room above us (we stayed in a bungalow) and he would invite his family over and it sounded like a WWE match was happening in the room for hours, there were nights I was waiting for a foot to come through the ceiling. We previously stayed at this resort before the re-brand/new ownership and it definitely feels different, rooms were serviced daily then, there was lots of staff onsite and they seemed happy/friendly then. For $690AUD per night, I expected better customer service.

Awesome hotel and stay
We really loved the room with wooden “curtains” and the balcony, and a very comfortable bed!! The shower also had amazing pressure! The drinks and food at the Pinapple moon were great. And all the staff were super friendly and helpful. Would love to return in the future.

Lovely Hawaii experience
The experience was lovely in every way! Friendly helpful staff. Excellent beach and pools. Easy walk on the beach path to allnof Kaanapali. Very relaxing vibe and the other guests were also nice. Restaurant was good. the pool bar tender is extraordinary!

The great place to spend a time with your family!
Overall, we had a great experience with the Royal Lahaina Resort. The stuff was accommodating, and the amenities were great. We stayed at the nice, clean room with a gorgeous ocean view. The beach was probably one of the best ones we experienced before!
