Went for our honeymoon, lovely resort
Stayed here on 16th Nov - 26th Nov for our honeymoon. Booked through TUI. Upon arrival at the hotel we were in awe of the size and the quality of the hotel itself, what a lovely hotel! (That big, they split it into 2 sides - and the coach actually drops you at one side first and then the other). The only issue we had was, it wasn’t clear on our booking as to what part we were staying in so we didn’t know when to get off the coach but the staff will tell you that if you get off and give your name. Staff were extremely friendly at all times, you can tell they’ve been trained to provide the best possible service. We told the staff at the desk it was our honeymoon and were given red wristbands (the wristbands also have a token in which is the entry to your room so there’s no need for room key cards etc). The red was to show we were VIP guests which gave little extras such as being congratulated on the wedding when attending restaurants and also little gestures such as treats in the room after housekeeping had been etc. One tip for you, if you didn’t know already, get yourself down to one of the gift shops and buy the thermal cups as they are much larger than the cups you’ll be given drinks in and they have no problem filling them up for you if you ask them too. I found that out on the first day when I was getting them to fill mine to the brim with Red Stripe. I was feeling rather sorry for myself the next day however.. We did most of the restaurants on site. Indian was by far the best service and food quality. We also did the Jamaican restaurant, The buffet, the steakhouse and the Mexican. The Jamaican was the longest wait we had out of all of them, waited over 30 minutes for our server to even ask if we wanted a drink, let alone to take our order. We also had a long wait for our main course in the steakhouse however the quality of the steak more than made up for it, was possibly the most flavoursome steak I’ve ever had. If you’re wanting to do trips off site, we cannot recommend the taxi firm on site highly enough! Yes you might have to pay a little more than the desks in reception but you get a more personable touch and service. We did a trip out to Negril through the taxi firm and Chris Brown (yes that was really his name!) was our driver and so friendly and helpful and he stayed with us all day, stressed to us to take our time and we were on our time and not his time. Sunset cove is a place I highly recommend too, if you’re on the Jamaica side of the resort it’s a bit of a walk but just ask one of the buggy drivers to take you and they’ll happily do so, I feel like not a lot of people know it’s there as it was quite quiet when we went but it’s honestly so lovely there and there’s a bar, jerk chicken hut and water sports equipment hire place there too. The sports bar on site annoyingly doesn’t show English football, or so I was told. Queue walking in a day or 2 later and seeing Man City on the TV. They seem to pick and choose if they want to stick a game on or not, they show an abundance of American sport though so if that’s your thing you’re in luck. The shows are, on the whole, quite good. The Michael Jackson dance guy needs to pick what he’s doing though, he has a physical microphone in his hand but mimes and doesn’t hide the fact that he is doing but feel like it takes away from some of the dancing at times. I’m sure people wouldn’t mind if he just didn’t try to mime it and just solely danced because he’s a good dancer. The Bob Marley tribute is superb, such a great voice and knows how to get the audience involved too. Bingo Night is like their version of Bongos Bingo (UK reference only I’m afraid!), the host is brilliant with it. The spa is lovely, another thing that I don’t think people realise is there. Yes you have to pay but it’s so relaxing and you can easily spend a whole day in there too. All in all, an amazing stay. Lovely staff and great country.

Stay away from this company.
They are not in mobay. Attitude staffs. No soap, towels, rag, so many issues. I had called 5 times over my two weeks stay for things. It's ridiculous

Tranquil
The staff was pleasant, helpful and provided excellent customer service. The meals from different restaurants were delicious and the rooms are cozy.

Horrible experience- avoid like the plague.
It has been exhausting dealing with anyone at this resort. I cannot state this enough. From the moment we have checked in, it seems like the staff has gone out of their way to make things as unpleasant as possible. We checked in late because of a travel delay, only to be told that our room was not ready. We requested rooms close to our friends when we booked- we were placed as far away as possible. We were told that rooms were allocated before; however; they weren’t even ready so that doesn’t sense. We asked for double beds, we got a king bed with no extra linens. We begged, pleaded and called. No service, no answers. We asked for a room change to what we had booked and were told we would get one the next day. The staff makes no note of customer requests and shifts change so they have no clue what’s going on. The wait staff is incredibly rude, unwelcoming. One doesn’t feel like a paying guest- it feels like we are freeloaders overstaying our welcome. Drinks are scarce, food is worse and often menu items are simply unavailable. There’s complimentary kayaks and paddle boards- 4 for the entire resort. You do the math. There’s a beautiful restaurant right next the beach- where they won’t seat you if you are in a damp swimsuit and coverup. It’s NEXT to the beach. Nothing makes sense here. Be prepared for rude service, unanswered requests for anything basically, wait hours for a drink/water, substandard food and completely illogical behavior from the staff. I doubt this will achieve anything because it’s clear that this place is understaffed and upper management has prioritized profits over guest experience.

You get what you pay for!
Property is dated but does the job; service and food however are total crap. They make little effort to surprise to the upside on anything. As stated in the title, you get what you pay for. This is no 5 star vacation and they dont hesitate through deeds to remind you of such
