Wonderful Experience as Aways
Our family has been at this beautiful resort so many times and we always have a wonderful experience. We feel it is our home in Panama. The renew suite is comfortable and well cleaned. We enjoy the pools and the happy hour at the lounge. Marilyn does an excellent job and every time makes us feel special. Ezequiel from concierge is a pleasure to deal with and very helpful. We also enjoy our interaction with Billye Jean from the lobby bar who always warmly welcome us. We are thankful for Armando for always trying to accommodate our family the best way possible. We had a problem with our luggage and Valeria and Armando were instrumental to solve the problem. Our suggestions are to clean the beach more often. There was a lot of trash this time which made our experience on the beach less pleasurable. And to have more engaging activities in the pool area.

Relax and renew on the beach
Our renewal suite was very comfortable with a bathtub and great views along with two balconies handy for morning coffee or drying hiking gear. Saw monkeys and shorebirds on the beach, and small birds and a hawk, along with bats around the pools. Food was good and buffet varied and ample. Great service from Iris Gonzales at the front desk, but really everyone was friendly and helpful. Restaurant service a la carte was quick and attentive

Best barista Renilio
The best Renilio barista that we have throughout our stay and who was able to amaze our days thank you Renilio!! The best barista ! Thank you ! In addition, he makes a lot of effort to speak the same language as us it was very appreciated and adorable!

Very Bad Customer Service
This was my first time in Panama and staying at The Westing Playa Bonita. After two days of traveling starting in New Hampshire then Florida we finally arrived to Panama. We got to the hotel at around 1:30pm. Our room was ready and it was giving to us prior to 3pm checkin. We were very grateful because we wanted to rest. However, the young lady at the counter let me know that the “wrist bands” for the all inclusive could not be issued until 3pm. We went up to the room got settled in and at 2:15 we went to the front desk and asked if we could get the wrist bands and I was told NO!! I asked the young lady if she would mind asking the manager if an exception could be made. We paid a significant amount of money to stay at the Westin which included the “All Inclusive” and the next thing I know “someone else came out , I asked if we could get the wrist bands early and he also said no. I then asked can u ask the manage, and he said “ Im the manager of the front desk and the policy is that we hand out the wrist bands at 3pm!! If I want to eat prior to 3pm I would have to buy it!! People this is POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Although I completely understand that policies and procedures need to be followed , I also know that there are times where exceptions can be made. Specially with only being one to check in and all the money that we paid to stay which includes , the all inclusive. I have travel to Colombia, Jamaica , Curazao, The Dominican Republic , Mexico , Puerto Rico and many other places and , wrist bands have been issued prior to chech-in and they say“ Go eat , and enjoy our facilities” Bottom line is, if you pay for an all inclusive and you arrive prior to 3pm and your hungry, know that management doesn't care. You will have to pay to eat! I will NEVER AGAIN , stay at The Westin Playa Bonita and neither should you!

Best Birthday celebration!
My husband and I traveled to Panama to celebrate my 70th birthday and revisit the place where I had grown up as an army brat in the 1960s. We decided to stay at the Playa Bonita because it was very close to Fort Kobbe, which is where I had lived 60 years previously. Playa Bonita’s staff could not have been more gracious! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and the setting on the water is stunning. The Westin Club has beautiful views aLao and two of the staff members - Marilyn and the concierge Ezequiel -were both outstanding. If not for the extra assistance of Ezequiel, I would not have found my previous home and both of them made my birthday celebration fantastic! My thanks to all at this hotel- everyone went the extra mile to make the guests feel special!
