Very nice resort! Rooms are nice, presidential looks the same as 2 bdrm suite. Confusing, not clear on the website of added amenities. Staff has been pleasant. Cameron at the hilltop bar is outstanding, very personable. Need better communication for shuttle service for groceries, you pay 1 way, resort covers return. Overall, the place is nice.

We had 2 king studio rooms at this hotel. I called in advance to make sure we did not have to use stairs but they put us up on the side of a hill with stairs anyway. My parents are not able to use stairs so we had to wait for the shuttle over an hour on several occasions and therefore missed the music events and had to change dinner reservations in Red Hook due to the delays. We mostly ate in red-hook because the food here was not good. It got very expensive since there were 4 of us taking taxis every night and they charge per person. Also, the room i was in was moldy and there was a leak of water from the overhang by the front door. Coki beach was the best part of staying here. The manager Randy was very nice, and tried to help. Also Michael, his assistant was concerned and helpful. This place has potential but they need to up their game.

Mar 18, 2025DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AWAY IN MARGARITAVILLE!
NO STARS! Do not stay at this resort. It’s awful! The service is awful, the beach is awful, and with the exception of the seafood mac & cheese, the food is awful. You have to literally leave the resort to go to a nice beach. There is a nice restaurant Sea and Sun to the right of the resort as you’re looking at the ocean. Go there! Take a trip to St. John… the beaches are better. Magens Bay Beach is beautiful and so is Sapphire Beach on St Thomas. We went to the grocery store and bought food for breakfast and drinks and snacks. You’re welcome to spend five dollars for a Coke at Margaritaville! The only thing great were the golf cart drivers- they were awesome! Stay somewhere else. Spend your money on St. John where it’s much quieter and the beaches are pretty.

Relaxed fun for families, couples and friends
It’s 5 o’clock somewhere! The only reason for 4 stars is because of the food. Think of TGI Fridays type food but way more expensive. The property is very clean and service was excellent. Property is close to a lot of areas. Travel by Taxi is the only way to get around unless you’re courageous enough to drive yourself. Short walk to beautiful Coki beach. Snorkeling is amazing. Also book power boat to St. John for snorkeling.

WARNING: DO NOT BOOK
They canceled our vacation 12 hours before getting on the plane. No explanation, no remorse, nothing. Seems to us they either double booked or they found someone else to pay more money. Our week long vacation was booked & fully paid for 3 months in advance. They canceled with a 12 hour notice, resulting in us loosing money. We had to cancel our flights, Uber, dog sitter, fishing charter. We took a week off work. This is an extremely sketchy resort. Do not trust
