We didn’t stay at the resort but decided to walk over from our resort for dinner and that was mistake number one. I will say the drinks were delicious and that was about it. We ordered the fried calamari appetizer. My boyfriend and I were unable to chew it and had to spit it out. I then ordered the guacamole burger. The guacamole was brown and the fries were cardboard. Now my man got the NY strip with mashed potatoes mixed veggies and added a shrimp skewer. He got his steak rare and was unable to cut it. It was rare but couldn’t be cut or chewed. The shrimp was also chewy. The food tasted old and possibly freezer burnt. Would NOT recommend. Prices were very high for very poor quality food. Very disappointed.

Nov 19, 2024Tropical Island - NOT SO HOT!
As a traveler, unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. For the most part most of the people were friendly but the hospitality and customer service was definitely subpar. With there only being one restaurant on the resort you would there would be excellent customer service, but it took a very long time for not only my food to arrive but other friends that I met there the same thing as well. We were not pleased. One of my friends actually did not stay because it took over an hour to receive their food and they left to order food elsewhere. Also, it is customary to inform your customers who are patronizing the restaurant to tell them about the menu including the drinks especially those with alcohol. My friend and I ordered the same drink and we were both upcharged because of the type of alcohol that was served in it when we were not informed that there would be an additional charge; which almost doubled the price of our drinks. At this point we had to speak to the GM on site because it is deceptive and misleading. Not a great experience. Also, we were wondering where the entertainment, the music, activities were. I understand that it rained a little bit here and there but when it was not raining and we decided to frequent the pool because that seemed like the only thing to do around there...there was no music until finally when the DJ came out for Happy Hour. So, I am glad we made friends with our taxi driver, Jelani, who was able to give us a tour around St. Thomas and get us off the Resort and eat some very delectable food and see the history and culture of the island. If it wasn't for him and connecting with good friends to help my experience, I would have rated this whole experience as a "One Star"...extremely poor. I came to relax but also have a great time and that really did not happen for me. Unfortunately, this resort lacked many things, therefore it is a "one and done" experience for me.

My good friend and 2 of my daughters went to celebrate my girls’ 45th birthdays. Our rooms were great, and all of the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the best bartender (and drinks) ever at the hilltop pool (Cameron). It was a fabulous vacay!!

Rooms are nice and the people at the front desk were extremely friendly, any questions I had they handle professionally. Now talking about security they have a guy that thinks we meaning the guests owe him something , he always looks like he doesn’t want to be there and the one time I interacted with him was horrible! I saw him hanging by one of the rooms as me and my wife walked by and said excuse me can you tell me where the pool is and we got such a dirty look like we was a bother to him. All others were great.

Jimmy Buffett would be proud
What a great resort. By far the best stay I ever have had. Rooms are nice. Great view. Staff is great. Wonderful entertainment all day every day. Sky line pool with the swim up bar. Top notch. I highly recommend it. So much to do in the surrounding area as well. Took a snorkel trip from the resort this morning
