The resort is located on a very large and beautiful piece of land. The gardens are well maintained, and you can observe many different birds and plants. There are beautiful ocean views from various points around the property. The beach is stunning, with the opportunity to snorkel right off the shore. The rooms are very clean and quiet. However, the food is not great: the meat is often overcooked, and many dishes are drenched in butter and salt.

We truly had the best vacation at Las Brisas Huatulco! The beautiful room with the stunning ocean view, the immaculate beaches, the delicious international food in the à la carte restaurants, warm and friendly employees, couples spa day, and evening entertainment combined to make this a truly memorable experience. When my iPad was left in the room upon departure, the staff worked diligently to find it and send back to me. We will definitely return to this special place! ❤️

Awesome
I can honestly say the reviews that are good are all true. The hotel lived up to what people say and I appreciated the honest reviews! The room we had was a “partial” ocean view however was amazing ! We’d recommend the “nubes” area as it has the best lookouts. The little outdoor eating area by the pools/ main bar is the best for lunch ! Best dinner was the Mediterranean food wise, service was, great most of the places as staff rotate around. The map is terrible … lots of figuring out and best routes as we preferred walking and burning off the food/ booze. Yes you have to get up early to illegally reserve a good seat at the beach. Tips are appreciated, but I would say not everyone does. Great time !! Feedback for the hotel - an app! With a map and activities updated.

Hunger Games
This was my second visit but I will not be returning. The deal breaker is the need to set your alarm for before 6 am to get down to the beach to reserve a chair. Every day, all palapas/umbrellas on the main beach and snorkeling beach were taken by 6 am, and on the sports beach by about 7 am. As a woman, walking alone through a pitch dark resort before sunrise to get a chair in the shade is my definition of a frightening hell, not a vacation. Additionally, lining up in a long line of ravenous Canadians waiting for the lunch buffet to open at 1 pm is not how I want to spend my vacation.

Something for everyone.
We went with our entire extended family which was helpful with all the children we brought. It's a beautiful location with very friendly, helpful and responsive staff. Food was good overall, drinks were great and the beds were comfy. The immediate access to 3 large beaches with snorkel-able reefs was big highlight for us as the kids are just getting into snorkeling. My only criticism would be the access to sailing and watercraft, it seems the black flag was flown too often when conditions were ideal.
