Apr 20, 2025Disappointed with Our Experience on our Prom Night (April 19)
feedback about our experience at your hotel on the night of April 19th. Our school held prom there, and while the event itself was great, what happened afterward really left a bad impression. After a long night, we were all super tired and just wanted to head home. When we went to valet our car, we were told (by multiple staff members, not just one) that if we had the school code, we’d get a discount for valet parking. We double-checked just to be sure and were told the same thing. But when we went to actually use the code, the staff member at the valet counter (an older woman with white hair in a ponytail, working around 9:30 PM) told us it only applied to self-parking. That was super frustrating because we’d made the decision to valet based on the info we were given. When we tried to explain this, her attitude was honestly really off-putting. She spoke to us in a way that felt rude and dismissive definitely not the kind of treatment I’d expect from Hilton staff. We weren’t trying to cause problems; we just wanted a clear answer and a little understanding, but instead we were met with attitude and zero empathy. Even though we weren’t staying overnight, we were still guests at your hotel. I’ve personally stayed at Hilton Hawaiian Village more than 10 times, and I’ve always had great experiences which is why this one stood out so much in a negative way. I hope this can be used as a reminder of how important staff training and communication are. Guests notice how they’re treated, and experiences like this can really change how people view a brand

Great location but expensive and in need of an urgent refurb. Tourist tax of $800 for 7 night stay and approaching $100 pd for sun bed and brolley. Best experience was tour of north of island and paying homage at Pearl Harbour. Some great restaurants parallel to beach.

Ignored our request for help
Uncaring and coldhearted. Fell and broke my arm and had 11 sutures above eye. Was staying in my timeshare and required more time before I could get on plane due to severe pain called manager who did not respond back and was charged extra for extended two days for last minute booking. Hilton timeshare is so loving and attentive when by want you to buy but don’t give a dam when you need help. Buyer beware. No customer service at all.

We had a room with a fantastic view in kalea tower. The beds were incredibly comfortable. It was great having so many shops close by. Our housekeeper, Rosemary, was amazing. We recommend staying at Hilton Hawaiian Village whenever you’re in Honolulu!

Enjoying the views at the Rainbow Towers.
Just wanted to let you know how much we loved staying at the newly renovated room at the Rainbow tower. As a Hiton Gold member for over twenty years we were impressed by the service provided at check in by our girl Clair. She went the extra mile and made our forty fifth anniversay very memorable. Its people like Clair that keep us coming back to the Rainbow towers. THANKS AGAIN CLAIR AND LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU NEXT YEAR...
