Wonderful Vacation on Beautiful Ambergris Caye
Relaxing one week stay in 3 bedroom unit F7. Clean and comfortable. Concierge desk was so helpful to arrange tours, answer questions and take care of few items (birthday decorations and cake, Tropic air flights) before our stay. Staff is so friendly (shout out to the awesome staff at the pool bar!) and put us in vacation mode the minute we arrived. Rented a golf cart through GC, worked out well. Meals on site for dinner were really good at Rain and Aqua. Quick drive to Truck stop , Aji and rum dog for dinner. Spa services (massage/facial/scrub) by Isadora were amazing. We swam from end of dock and kayaked in the beautiful blue sea. Concierge arranged tours with Island Dreams for YOLO snorkel tour and Tuff E Nuff for Lamanai tour. Also did cooking class at Wataguma- wow so much fun and delicious food! Yoga on Wednesday at end of dock was awesome. Daily laundry service upon request was nice perk. Ordered some groceries from Beach basket to be delivered on Day 1 (free delivery to GC with a minimum purchase amount) but it’s really close to GC so you can also stock up when you arrive. Don’t miss secret beach for beach time and Estel’s by the Sea in town for fry jacks! Wonderful vacation, thank you GC!

This is a beautiful resort, beautiful pool area, a lovely rooftop restaurant called Rain. They have a convenient store right there a few steps away which we went to almost everyday. The resort has golf carts to rent ($59 US/day) but is worth it and personally I feel is a must so you can go explore. Our suite (CH-2) was the biggest suite I think we’ve ever stayed in! It was beautiful. It looked out to the ocean. It wasn’t stocked very well with utensils and glasses. We had to keep washing them. But not a big deal. It was far away from the pool area so it was very quiet. My favorite thing to do is to walk the beach for an hour or so because that is my exercise for the day. Unfortunately, this resort does not have a beach. There is a roped off area, which is about 50-75 feet long and you can wade out to your calves! That’s pretty much it! Oh and bring your boat shoes cause there’s a ton of rocks, coral which will hurt you! Actually there’s really no beach anywhere. There is a wall everywhere so you can’t just jump in the water. No real lobby, a front desk and a sitting area and an “excursion” room where you book your activities if you want. Pool bar is great but pack your patience and just go with the flow, no one is in a hurry…..again, that’s ok. Shout out to Brian, Ian (Patrick Mahomes cause he looks like him!) and Jocia. Probably the very best pina colada’s I’ve ever had!

Great resort
The pillows are amazing. The resort bartenders/ paddle bord towel area guy are great. Several pools to use. I give it 4 stars because housekeeping didn't do a great job cleaning the bathrooms. we had the ocean view room, and it was amazing! The kitchen is also great if you don't want to eat out and save money.

Mar 06, 2025Very nice but drawbacks and needs updating.
Our room was facing the road and carts and trucks start very early in the morning making sleeping past 6am impossible. The curtains are not blackout curtains and we had a 1+ year old with us who was awake at dawn because of it. The unit we stayed in was pretty well equipped but the appliances are old and outdated. The restaurant onsite is mediocre and quite pricey. The pool bar staff was not very attentive and food options are limited and by the time you get your food if you ordered hot, it does not arrive that way but the waiter does not come back to check on you so you are out of luck. Housekeeping was excellent and front desk staff was very accommodating but looking forward to the next leg of our journey to get some sleep. Very surprised at the 5 star rating but until more resorts are built up north here in the caye - it's probably the best you can get. It is not really convenient to much. You do have to travel for restaurants and beaches except for Aji and the Truck stop ( both excellent ). I will say, the view of the ocean is stunning but the beach is not really swimming friendly. The pool could also use some updating. All things considered, it is a decent place to stay but will try the more southern end of the Island next time.
