Must Visit - You will not be disappointed
We did extensive research before booking our holiday to Barbados, as we found so many of the hotels outdated and depressing looking. On arrival at the Hilton Barbados we knew we made the right choice in selecting this hotel. Everything about the hotel is on point. It’s was a birthday trip, I loved the added touch of a cake & card on arrival in our room. Staff were all so friendly from the minute we arrived, shout out to Shanice in reception who was just a delight, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. Always had service with a smile. Frederick on the bell desk was so attention and had amazing knowledge of the property, he explained so much whilst accompanying us to our room. Both are true assert to the hotel. Location is great just by pebbles beach, which is definitely worth a visit 5am-7am to see the horse swimming in the sea every morning. Just a 2 minute walk from the hotel. As you walk out the hotel road there are a few eating options & shops for snacks/drinks. We didn’t go for the breakfast buffet option but really enjoyed the la carte breakfast menu. Nice size portions and work out a lot cheaper than the buffet. They also have a lovely coffee shop onsite that had plenty of drinks & food options. If you would rather try breakfast outside Blush cafe is a 10 mins walk and definitely worth a visit. Pool/beach lovely and clean, pool lunch options were lovely too. Rooms are spacious, well kept & housekeeping do a lovely job cleaning the room daily. My only recommendation to the hotel would be to provide a welcome letter on arrival. Clearly stating all the relevant information guests require. Such as breakfast location and timing, restaurant details, cafe opening times, activities etc. We found that this was not at all explained to us, it was only when we walked around ourselves, did we find out about the grill restaurant, the la carte breakfast menu, cafe opening times. Would have made a big difference to the stay had this all been told to us at check in rather than having to explore and find out ourselves. I would highly recommend staying at the Hilton Barbados, it’s just a shorty bus ride from Brightdown. We hired a car from a lovely guy call Rodney (+1 (246) 850-6252) who offered the best rates, we found do check him out if you are after car hire. We chose this option as it was more cost effective. Taxis are very expensive and it gave us the freedom to explore the island without having to go in group tours and enabling us to trying various restaurants around the island. We will be recommending the hotel to our friends & family.

Beautiful Hotel with good amenities
The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean with a lovely view. I did have some issues that the staff was attentive to, however, getting a new safe took longer than i expected

Great place
Beautiful hotel with views from every room. Spacious, clean and a friendly staff. Love the various pool options and access to the beach on-site. Steps away from Carlisle Bay (more beaches) and convenient to off-site food spots as well. Daily music keeps the vibes going. Highly recommend!

The Best of Barbados
I had the pleasure of stopping into Hilton Barbados for a day stay last week and definitely needed to write a review to say what an excellent time was had and how well attended to I was. Thanks to Tèresa Nicholls for all her kinda assistance. It took me minimal time to get the paperwork organized and dive straight into relaxation! The food at the Water’s Edge was wonderful- thanks to Chef Jose for coming to check in with me and making sure everything was fabulous! We’ve stayed at Hilton Barbados many many times and it is always gets better! Thanks team for the very best trip….definitely wish I could have stayed longer xx

Not so impressed, property run down
I visited this hotel in 2019 and was very impressed with the room cleanliness, staff friendliness, and overall experience. 6 years later, in October 2025, I will say I am far less impressed or pleased with the hotel upkeep or customer experience. 200+ per night room had termite frass falling from the bathroom vanity onto my wash clothes. I was moved from that room, after contacting corporate because the guest services first desk clerk was either unable to unwilling to assist me, unless it came with me fronting the expense for a pricey accommodation upgrade. My second room was cleaner, but it was located in a noisy area of the hotel; it sounded like someone was playing in a band all night long. This made it nearly impossible to rest. Furthermore, the on-site restaurants are subpar to say the least. The pool and beach area are run down, lots of dirt and debris that isn't being maintained by the Hilton property management, surprisingly. I love this island, but I think I'll find myself a different hotel accommodation on the next visit.
