Good value for money, good food, nice beach, and excellent service.
Great hotel located in front of a beautiful beach, well-maintained, and no seaweed. The staff was wonderful, the food was good overall, but more variety is needed. The entertainment crew was great. Thanks to Charli, Samanda, Eric, and Jeison for making it a good experience overall. Well worth the time and money and would consider coming back next year. Much less traffic than Punta Cana.

O…..M…..G!!!!! Yes, I am a real live person who actually visited this resort. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this resort! We were here for a short 5 day stay with my father in law and his wife. Let me say that we are beach people and this resort did not disappoint with the beach area!!! We were in Punta Cana earlier this year and La Romana is where it’s at!!! No seaweed, clean, no broken glass, ect…. Unlike Punta Cana. Our AC was the coldest AC I’ve ever experienced on a resort! I always bring a damp rid because most resort rooms are damp and smell moldy because of the humidity. I could’ve gone completely without one! The buffet is smaller than other resorts I’ve gone to but there was a lot of selection. The pools were immaculate! The drinks were wonderful! (They have a heavy pour which I like so no complaints here!🤪) The worst thing about this resort was having to leave. But, already plan on booking another trip there next October! Here’s a couple of tips for you if you plan on coming: 1. We booked preferred and I think we could’ve gone without it except Eric our butler was fabulous!!! (Eric, if you read this, I’m the one that taught you “do me a solid”!) 2. Please consider tipping the staff. I’ve never been to a resort where no one was leaving tips. Yes, this is up to the guest, and yes, we pay a lot to stay there but I saw the staff busting their asses for all the guests and not a lot of people were leaving tips. Maybe I’m just more generous than others. 3. Bring a beach cup with you! It’s blazing hot in the DR and drinks melt FAST! That’s all I got for ya. You’ll love it here!

Georgio is the reason we will be back
I went to many hotels in DR, but here at Dreams La Romana, from the start, Georgio made our experience there amazing, he went above and beyond during checkin to make our stay amazing and only thanks to him we will be coming back! It was us with the 1 year old and my friend with her family and her 1 year old, we were placed on the first floor, and loved everything Georgio did for us. We were preferred, and our Butler Erick was amazing and very helpful in everything. Food was just ok. But thanks to Georgio, we will be coming back again this year!

I don’t even know where to start. From the moment we arrived to check in, the service was excellent. I wish I could remember the name of the young man who helped us, but unfortunately, it escapes me. His attention was incredible. While he was checking us in, he received a phone call, and we heard him speaking in perfect English, which impressed us all with his professionalism and friendliness. When we arrived at our room, it was spotless, clean, and in perfect condition. The minibar was stocked with water, sodas, and the private pool in our room was also sparkling clean. I want to highlight the good energy and excellent service from ALL the hotel staff. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted warmly and with a genuine smile. It was amazing to see how some employees who worked late at night were just as cheerful and ready to help first thing in the morning. A special mention goes to the entertainment team. It seems like they have unlimited energy! They were always organizing activities on the beach, like volleyball, and my husband spent much of his time playing with them. I really hope someone tells them what an excellent job they are doing. At the pool bar, Claudio, Marcelo, Elias, and a girl with braces (whose name I can’t recall) provided us with incredible service. Always with a smile and exceptional attention. The breakfast buffet staff, by the second day, already remembered our room number and made us feel right at home. Benjamin, who served us at the Japanese restaurant, made our visits there an excellent experience. And Stiwar, who I didn’t see stop working for even a second, also deserves recognition. I’m sure I’m forgetting to mention many people, but I want to thank the entire team, on behalf of my husband and me, for making our stay an unforgettable experience. We had an amazing time, and we will definitely return next year. Thanks to all of you for the excellent service you provide—you are the reason we want to keep coming back.
